Some days you just have to ignore everything you're "supposed" to be doing and make yourself a snuggly, glow in the dark hoodie.

It's not everyday that a group of cows wanders down your road (usually it's the local ponies 😂)! I guess they were excited by the snow and wanted to go out to play 🐂 ❄️ #VillageLife

Developer friends, please help! I'm preparing a talk ("Anatomy of a Database Operation") to explain what happens behind the scenes when you send a request to your #Postgres database. I have *way* too much material for a 30 minute talk and need to cut it down! What do you most want to know about?

Parenting fail: I've created an app for my teens, at their request, and it's a really fun family project. The fail part? I thought it would be a good idea to give the 16yo access to the repo and teach them how to create issues, but I forgot the bit about teaching them to code and create PRs 🤦‍♀️

Around this time every year, my husband buys a newspaper. It confuses me every time because he never buys/reads a newspaper. I think he must have gone all intellectual, but then I remember it's actually just to wrap the Christmas cake in as it cooks 😂 The kitchen currently smells delicious 😋
