That's completely true, but doesn't change the fact that every single Republican needs to be voted out. We're going to need a functioning democracy to start/continue cleaning up the Democratic Party, and that means no Republicans in any office to steal our elections.

Go to your local Democratic organization's website and they'll probably have sample ballots for local officials and judges.

I think Ukraine bombed the "people" who would have responded to your challenge, so you might be waiting a while.

Supporting the downfall of our democracy is the root cause of the criticism. If she were a normal person, I would detest this treatment of her because bullying sucks. Being a fascist + allegedly changing her natural looks into "that" on purpose are both choices that she could have avoided.

In general, they do, but that aren't ICE, which is an important point as we seek to completely obliterate ICE as the main priority.

kareneick.bsky.social @kareneick.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
Not all cops hate you, but all ICE do, by design. ICE is specifically there to kill and kidnap people. Cops do a lot of other things like respond to public safety situations, direct traffic, investigate crimes, etc. The police need to be seriously reformed, ICE needs to be abolished.

Yes - he seems to be the main architect of the intentional destruction of the government. MAGA wouldn't care if something happened to him because they probably don't know who he is. No one voted for him, so no harm to democracy either. (Peter Thiel would be 2nd on my list)

I believe it. Most people being called "Karens" aren't even in the generations when the name was common. Popularity started declining in the late 1960's.

The first goal is to crush the MAGA party and its fascists into oblivion before they destroy us all. If MTG or Fuentes convince tens of thousands of voters not to support Republicans, they're welcome to it. But they're not in the tent and never will be.

kareneick.bsky.social @kareneick.bsky.social · 07/10/2026
We don't have to admire everyone in our big tent, just work together on the important things for as long as it takes. Even people with no honor whatsoever like MTG might be useful in the short term, though carefully monitored and never trusted.

We weren't the ones who trashed the name in the first place. I guarantee that no one who's been called a Karen on the internet isn't really a Caitlin, Stacy, Jennifer, etc. But I always try to spread positivity using the lovely name I inherited from my great-grandmother. ❤️

Don't project your own cult behavior onto the rest of us. Politicians are not worthy of unconditional worship or love. Biden happened to be the better choice for President in 2020, given the alternative. That's it.

MAGAs always blame Trump's "advisors" for every policy they don't like. Trump is completely responsible for the evil, but he doesn't care about most of his handlers' agendas, he just wants to destroy, cause suffering and make money. The handlers will outlive him and need to be blamed very, very much

There are so many manipulating him (from Heritage Foundation to billionaires to Russia to Israel, etc.) that it's hard to know who holds the majority of the power.

From two people who knew him personally: Mary Trump: "there is no worst with Donald". Jeffrey Epstein: "he is evil beyond belief" Nothing is completely off limits.

I believe Iran knows that they need to choose targets that hurt MAGA, so anything that happens contrary to that will be highly likely to be a false flag.

No one thinks that. Even 8 years of future Democratic control in all branches of government wouldn't be able to fix everything, even if the ones in charge are sincere. But they can start real investigations and obstruct some of the worst things from happening.

kareneick.bsky.social @kareneick.bsky.social · 04/10/2026
Yes, but many refused to listen. They still refuse to listen, but now that many are being directly affected, they'll be better at voting for their own self-interest. Unfortunately, every time Democrats are in charge in the future, they'll go back to voting against their self-interest again.

Even worse, he's Peter Thiel's handpicked guy - so by proxy, he doesn't believe in democracy and isn't even sure if the human race needs to survive.

I suppose I listen to enough content creators who talk a lot about Israel/Gaza that it's not a blip on my radar if some focus on other topics from the ridiculous firehose of bad news. I steer clear of anyone who makes excuses for Israel (like Raging Moderates).

Meidas Touch is usually a bit much for me, though they are pretty timely covering news stories. I don't remember hearing any Zionism or "centrism" from them, but, as with all of these, what they report needs to be verified from multiple sources.

Exactly - getting Trump elected was necessary because Vance isn't electable, but Trump is standing in the way of Thiel's ultimate goal by being so stupidly non-strategic in his authoritarian takeover attempt.

It's not black and white. Because they're not blatantly spreading propaganda, he thinks they're completely against him. (No amount of positive coverage is enough for the narcissist). They report facts, for sure, but with a gentle right-wing framing that barely addresses the literal insanity.

Much as I want the US Treasury to reclaim most of the assets he stole from us, I would settle for the scenario you describe.

There's the brainwashed cult and then there are the terminally lazy, spoiled ones who didn't put forth the least amount of effort to cast a knowledgeable vote. Broadcast/cable media sold out, requiring people to proactively seek out the truth elsewhere (though it should've been obvious).

He needs to be in a state of constant agitation. He won't stop until someone stops him. It's probably bad for his health to be angry and frustrated, so that might help us reach the long-term solution a little sooner.

There are some Democrats who still want to work incrementally based on the ACA, others who reject anything but universal healthcare (which is probably the more popular public opinion). I'm willing to elect more of them so they can start seriously hashing it out in Congress.

Are there any specific laws that require the Speaker to keep the house in session unless there's an actual reason not to? I would love to see some good prosecution on this little twit next year, assuming the midterms are too big to rig.

Good grief, unless El Sayed said any of those things himself, or said he agrees with Piker on those (he hasn't), I have no problem taking him seriously. He's a well-educated public servant who wants to fix our healthcare system.

He was a high-functioning sociopath who ruled his family and business with complete authority and no care at all for anyone around him. "Happy" isn't the right word in normal human terms, but there wouldn't have been much stress or insecurity. That doesn't mean he wasn't completely evil.

kareneick.bsky.social @kareneick.bsky.social · 12/09/2026
I think I heard from Mary Trump that Fred was a sociopath, but a fairly happy one because everything typically went his way. Donald doesn't worry about consequences, but seems to have some anger and insecurity that gets exposed when he isn't properly praised.
