Remember that poem? "When I'm old, I shall wear purple?" I'm not a purple person. But I hope I'll adopt the sentiment to throw decorum out the window. Yesterday, I heard the @99pi.org episode about emojis. Once upon a time, I made my own (10yrs ago). I'm not a huge emoji fan. I prefer words. I love a good 💚, but I'd rather type out "Ha!" Or "Who knows?!" I'm not judging, honest! I'm a talker! #emoji #lineart #inkdrawings #sketchbook #kidlitart

Happy Monday, friends! I love crows. They're smart and beautiful and they always seem to be watching. I love David Sedaris' tale about the lamb and the crow. So sometimes, an eye or two might make it into my sketch. #crows #crowillustration #kidlitart #kidlitsketch #sketch_daily
