A half body illustration of the character Loki from the Marvel universe, but in his frost giant (Jotun) form.
He has a few braids on a shoulder length hair, with his classic horned helmet being more of a headband. He wears a large fur cape around his shoulders, as well as a large neck/chest piece with a knotwork pattern - the same pattern is repeated on his staff. He has a few marks on his face and chest, the ones he would have as a frost giant. He is also wearing gold and black pants, as well as golden bracers with fur. The background is dark blue on top and light blue below, as if it's snowing.
His looks is very much inspired by his Marvel Rivals design, but I wanted to work on a more Norse God looking version of it - still as if it was one of his skins in game. That's why I chose the braided hair, lots of fur and detailed knotwork on the golden patches. The fur is also more on the gray side, as a little nod to Fenrir and a sort of "wolf in sheep's clothing" kind of thing.

An illustration based on the song Deus in Absentia by the band Ghost. It depicts the band's frontman at the time, Papa Terzo, lying on a funeral pyre, with his head detached from his body, being engulfed by flames. His clothes and the pyre are designed with art deco themes. Underneath, there's a phrase of the song: "the world is on fire and you are here to stay and burn with me".
This version is in black and white, looking more like a silver, shiny type of B&W, like in 1920's movies from the German expressionism era, like Metropolis.

An illustration based on the song I Believe by the band Ghost. It depicts the band's frontman at the time, Papa Terzo, holding a completely white and shining person in his arms, almost as comforting them (the person has their edges with the colors of the rainbow, very faint, almost as if iridescent). He also has a broken halo around his head. Around them, there's a phrase of the song: "I believe you could be what I need to believe".
It's almost all black and white, based on the sculpture The Kiss, by Rodin. The idea was him comforting a fallen angel - but also with the dubious edge of manipulation there was at this era of the band.

Four samples of half-body illustrations done by me
On the top left corner, it's an illustration of two original characters of mine, Mick and Angie. They are, well, dead, playing in a rock band in the afterlife. Mick is wearing heavy Halloween make-up resembling a skeleton while playing the bass, while Angie is singing and holding him from behind. The background is simple, with the lyrics to "I put a spell on you".
On the top right corner, it's an illustration of two original characters of mine, Mihai and Kathleen. They are vampire hunters, Mentor and Apprentice, casually leaning on their swords during a rare calm afternoon, side by side. Mihai has tanner skin and brown, slightly long, braided hair, wearing mostly light colored simple clothes, while Kathleen has very pale blond hair and skin, with dark make-up around her eyes, while wearing mostly dark, simple but embellished clothes. They are both covered in healed scars. The background is a simple sky with bushes/trees behind them.
On the bottom left corner, it's an illustration of the original character Ophelia Pendragon by cyanorat. She is a sorcerer, Queen of Avalon, wearing an opal dress with long sleeves, a detailed necklace and a crown. She has dark skin and deep blue eyes, like the water magic she wields and like the night sky behind her.
On the top right corner, there are two original characters of mine, Alastor and Nyx. They are from a cyberpunk style story. Alastor has purple, shoulder length hair and golden eyes, wearing mostly red leather clothes. Nyx has pool blue short hair with a chrome plaque on the left side of her head and purple eyes, wearing mostly black leather clothes and having the left side of her body covered in burn scars. She also has a tattoo across her belly written "Huntress". The background is simple, with words and stains as if it's graffiti, written things like "No Gods".

On the right, you can see the color palette, brushes and layers.
On the left you can see the working canvas.
You can see the character from waist up - Dante, from the Devil May Cry game series. On the canvas, so far, there's a rough painting of everything but his guns and hands. You can also see very lightly the sketch over which I'm working on to paint the whole illustration. Right next to him you can see the color swatches I'm using so I won't lose them, mostly the ones for his skin, hair, lips, black clothes, and two swatches of different reds.
He is on a sort of Flamenco pose, holding his guns and looking to the side with his coat dramatically flowing behind him, while the background so far is gray to help me with painting.

An illustration of a concept art sheet for my original dark fantasy character, a Vampiric Lord called István Ardelean. It shows clothing options and his swords, mixing sketches and fully rendered references. On the left, there are two rows with four different sketches of clothing options for him - the first two being more casual looking and the last two being a little more formal, with long coats/capes. On the right, there are two final, fully rendered options of clothes for him, being the same one except the second option has a large red cape over it. In the middle there are two options of swords, one smaller and more embellished with silver and gold, and one longer and simpler. The sheet also features the color swatches I used and his name for reference. He is a tall an lean pale man, with long wavy black hair, wearing mostly black and silver clothes with some dark red accents - except for the cape, which is blood red.

István was a knight before killing a king to save his people and taking his title as ruler, but becoming a vampire in the process. He is also considered a Warlord, which sets him apart from other Vampiric Lords - since most of them were already aristocracy and like to live the debauchery/abuse of power lifestyle. Given that, I wanted his design to be more practical and not so pompous - he wears the aristocracy more as an intimidation title. His final design is reminiscent of armors and war general clothes hidden under a facade of nobility - he is, first and foremost, a warrior who has single-handedly killed entire armies and is now dormant.
Same train of thought goes for his swords: the smaller on the left is the royal sword of the king he killed to protect his people - it doesn't have a good balance and it's more 'beauty over utility', he keeps it as a kill trophy. The longer one, his zweihänder, is his sword from his time as a knight and the one he *really* uses.
