Kapendev @kapendev.bsky.social · 24/06/2026Good news: sprite stacking makes depth related things super easy. You can go over every game object N times and draw one slice from the stack(s) at a time. #gamedev #indiedev #dlang 1101
Kapendev @kapendev.bsky.social · 17/06/2026I really want to make a game with sprite stacking lol. #gamedev #iloveprogramming #dlang 2192
Kapendev @kapendev.bsky.social · 28/01/2026Made a basic Zen C + Parin + Dlang project for fun. Look at it! Well, it's also raylib project because the default backend of Parin is raylib. Repo: github.com/Kapendev/zen... 021
Kapendev @kapendev.bsky.social · 26/01/2026Copy-pasting Jai stream ideas into Dlang because why not. I'm using metaprogramming, or *comptime* as the cool kids say, to slice a single block of memory. #gamedev 061
Kapendev @kapendev.bsky.social · 25/01/2026You can now import header files in Dlang. Will probably not work with every header out there, but it works with #raylib of course (the best C library). #gamedev #indiedev 1153
Kapendev @kapendev.bsky.social · 24/01/2026Why is this programming lang so good? At least for my Dlang code, I can: - Make static exes on Linux. - Make Windows builds from Linux. - Manage memory manually for my games. - Let the GC manage memory for my scripts. - Check at comptime if tagged unions share the same base and methods. #gamedev 091
Kapendev @kapendev.bsky.social · 13/12/2024Played around with UI in my tile map editor. It looks kinda basic, but it's something :) #gamedev #raylib #dlang 0150
Kapendev @kapendev.bsky.social · 01/12/2024I think my biggest challenge will be keeping the UI simple. It has its charm now, but... eh. Added copy-paste. This is a tile map editor btw. #gamedev #raylib #dlang 0121
