I was a guest artist for NEXT!!! Sound of the Future, a Vocaloid fan comic by @ricedeity.online I drew a 20+ page bonus comic about a human idol and her partner Megurine Luka, check it out at nsotf.com !! #comic #art #vocaloid

Comic page. Art by misersdream.
Panel 1: A young woman walks down a hall as her coworkers speak to her. "Good work today!" "See you Monday!"
Panel 2: "Yeah, thanks!" she says. She thinks, "My name is Kotomi. I'm an idol in a duo called Electric Kiss. Tomorrow, I turn 20."
Panel 3: "The farewells from my agency are warmer than usual today, but no one has brought up my birthday."
Panel 4: A voice comes from behind Kotomi. "Ah, wait!"

Comic page.
Panel 1: Kotomi looks behind her and sees someone calling out to her. "Kotomi-san!"
Panel 2: it's Megurine Luka. "Let's get dinner together!" Kotomi's thoughts continue. "Because tomorrow is the day that I officially stop being younger than my idol duo partner..."
Panel 3: Kotomi looks at Luka. "...Which means that the end of my career is on the horizon."

Comic page.
Panel 1: Megurine Luka and her many iterations that vary in appearance. Kotomi's dialogue continues. "Megurine Luka-san is her name. Well, it doesn't belong wholly to her. She's an android. There are hundreds of Megurine Luka-sans across all of Japan."
Panel 2: Luka and Kotomi chat. Kotomi's dialogue continues. "I don't know much about her besides what I've learned about her on variety shows. As idols, we emphasize our gap as senpai and kouhai, and as robot and human."
Panel 3: Luka and another woman whose face is in shadow. Her pose mirrors that of Kotomi's. "I'm following the same relationship dynamic that she had with the girl before me. Her first human partner."

#xivwomenweek - an idea I had all the way back when playing the heavensward patches, which I finally cleaned up.

Ysayle and the Word of the Mother are floating in front of the giant crystal, shown in silhouette (Ysayle in blue, Minfilia in pink) and then again as close crops of their faces with details drawn in. Ysayle looks excited, Minfilia looks pained.
Word of the Mother: Oh, child of Hydaelyn… How I have let you down. I wish I could have met you.
Ysayle: Mothercrystal… You are meeting me now!
A hazy sepia toned panel of Minfilia in the solar, cut off above her eyes, is inset.
Minfilia: I meant… as myself.

i posted an epiphany i had about why i hate AI so much on fedi and i wanna post it here but it won't fit and i don't wanna cut it down to size so fuckit i'm just posting a screenshot

Eniko Fox
@eniko@mastodon.gamedev.place

OH. right! i get it now!

i get why AI is so depressing to me. because covid already shrunk my world to almost nothing, where almost all of my life revolves around socializing and watching videos on the internet (which is being ruined by AI) and creating creative works through coding (which is being ruined by AI), often using open source tools and libraries (which are being ruined by AI)

i already had so little and now even that is being rotted away before my eyes

#ClipStudio made a statement regarding the recent takedown of assets, and their plans for some restoration. The subject is very polarizing rn so I understand why, but others originally posting this got attacked. Please be kinder everyone, we are all struggling.

Restoring flagged materials

We have restored materials that were incorrectly flagged on Clip Studio Assets, and are reviewing all other unpublished materials. We deeply apologize for any concern.

The issue was caused by flaws in our review process, which have now been revised. We would also like to clarify that AI is not used for moderation. In some cases, the thumbnails, descriptions, explanatory images, and tags were flagged, even if the material itself met all guidelines.

We are working hard to quickly restore as many misclassified materials as possible. You can resubmit your materials at any time, and they will be published once the review is complete.

Data Privacy in Clip Studio Paint

We handle art stored in the Clip Studio cloud with the greatest care, prioritizing privacy and security of communication. We do not arbitrarily monitor or delete cloud data, and cannot view files saved locally on a device using Clip Studio Paint.

It is impossible for Clip Studio Paint to monitor or limit use of the program based on what is being created. We will never add features that monitor or read what is being created, or that restrict your expression.
