iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

lmfao the first year had dogshit spongebob and avatar meanwhile the 2nd year is EVANGELION and FINAL FANTASY the mogging is insane

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 15h

lmao this second season pass is about a million times better than the first one

000

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 16h

waiting to buy it is paying off once again might get it when the EVA dlc drops

000

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 18h

irrationally pissed that despite the new collection being just one game now they STILL put 358 before kh2 in the new KH collection man stop doing that

020

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 18h

n24 is Zelda Oracle of Ages, which i also have never played. good thing with GBC card is that you don't need to open them to verify authenticity with their transparent case i still need to open it bc the battery is dead but given my barbaric opening method doesn't work on GBC I'm ordering a gamebit

130

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 18h

changed the batteries for my gold & silver while I was at it (silver picture is moments before disaster as I had soldered it the wrong way lmao)

120

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 22h

the scale of this game is just bewildering to see unravel. took me over 65 hours to knock down two routes out of four in the first act out of three in the game yet there's very little repetition in maps or gimmicks. just incredible all around

000

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 22h

beat Dietrich's route in FE Fortune's Weave and i'm afraid the game might be uncontested GOTY

100

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

(i redid the soldering for emerald don't worry it doesnt look like that last pic right now lmao)

100

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

fellas im happy to confirm the surgery was a success. relatively painless process, had to go at it three times for emerald but the clock is finally ticking again 🙌

110

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

...Anyway tonight we're learning how do iron solders work

110

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

the climax! n21, 22 and 23 are none other than the Hoenn trio! the trifecta of absurdly expensive games! they're all legit! but the battery is DEAD in all of them! not a dealbreaker bc it only affects the real time clock and berries culture but still

140

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

we're entering the money time. n20 is Pokemon Leaf Green, to complete my kanto duology alongside the Fire Red I already had. maybe I'll finally complete the pokedex on card now

100

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

n18 and 19 are another double feature with the URBZ and the SIMS 2. played both in my childhood but especially the urbz which is a super fun single player lifestyle sort of rpg. recommend heavily!

100

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

N17 is pokemon pinball and im not going to risk opening that cartridge given how specific it is. it's a huge fucking thing tho lol it towers over my analogue pocket

210

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

by the way the pcb for tetris looks so fake, it has the weird black blob that fakes always have but it's actually legit and how all copies look like

110

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

i don't think i need to present n15 and 16

100

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

time for a gameboy tunnel. n14 is the one and only WARIO BLAST FEATURING BOMBERMAN, a classic forgotten to times never actually played it tho

121

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

n13 is the first Advance Wars, right after I got its sequel. once again super accessible and still the best looking versions of these two games

100

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

n11 and n12 are two Dragon Ball games. Legacy of Goku (one of my childhood action RPG) with the weirdest title screen ive seen and Supersonic Warriors that is well known by ArcSys fans I will eventually need to get Legacy of Goku 2 and import the 3rd game from the US

100

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

big update today as I'm receiving a lot of things first off, 10th get is Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga, a favorite of mine. another label that's as good as new and that I'm definitely replaying in the near future

120

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

how does that work for the HOME pokedex and to get celebi? do you really need to lose your pokémon from FRLG to complete the achievements there or is there a sort of scanning pokedex feature?

200

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

i think fabio might be an all time best fire emblem character

010

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

9th get is the game i actually wanted to play the most next given i played the first two earlier this year: Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land the cartridge is SO pristine I feared for a moment it'd be fake but it's legit and as good as new. not a reprint either given the number stamp

140

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

8th get is a funny one. Conker's Pocket Tales is the other Conker game that is kind of forgotten and also doesn't seem to be nearly as edgy as the n64 game. i dig the artstyle tho. also has GBC support built in

120

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

(you can get both advance wars gba for cheaper than the switch remaster is and I think they look better)

100

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

triple drop today! 7th get is Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising. i also got a separate order of the first game on the way. delightful SRPGs that are surprisingly cheap on the market the guy's save file was right before the final boss. why not beat it at this point!

100

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

I think doing Cai's route first is still the way because it kind of acts as a good introduction to the world of Dagda but the stakes are really appearant in other routes

000

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

dude it's ridiculous. Dietrich's route is so good, why is Fabio such an incredible character lmao

100

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

for the first time ever i won an ebay auction (tied to my gb/gba thread) and it was surprisingly painless aside from the weird wave of bots at the near end that kept outbidding me up until a very specific treshold (which i was ready to barely surpass). how weird is that

1) This isn't about generating games or assets with AI, it's just about using automation tools for some processes like bug testing which isn't inherently bad 2) IGN should be embarrassed for this headline. It doesn't say "AI generation" as in generative AI, it's 世代, "generation" as in "time period"

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

dietrich's route is so much better than cai's it's barely a competition lol

000

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

here's how it's supposed to look like. the obvious difference is the complete lack of a battery but it's also missing the TP markings on the back as well as different positioning of the components PCB seller agreed to refund so it's all good but it is impressive work for a fake

100

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

6th get is unfortunately a fake but should be the last one. this one is quite vicious because I impulse bought this Pokemon Sapphire based on the presence of the four gold squares in the back but upon closer inspection i had some suspicions that were later confirmed

110

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

5th get is Final Fantasy: Dawn of Souls, a duology of remasters of the first two FF games. surprisingly cheap value on the markets legit and all that. I might actually discover ff2 with this version

100

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

tears in my eyes it's 2026 and i can still watch the goat score twice in the same match maybe it's worth living on

double delivery today. 4th get is F-Zero Maximum Velocity which i didn't play as a kid but was so cheap I figured I might as well get it. legit and all that i swear im not only buying gba games but those are the ones that came first

100

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

it's not amongst my fav 2D metroid... but with how popular these games are getting lately i'm pretty happy to have it for good now

010

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

3rd get is Metroid Fusion. got it way under market price (25€ before shipping) and I'm glad to witness it's not only legit but also in pristine state! also the previous owner was very hardcore about it. two fully complete file size and one near complete

231

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Btw here's my collection so far. All legit cards, including yes the laserified mario land 2 (i have no idea how it got like that but it still works) Mario land 1 is busted tho, will need to buy a new one eventually

210

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

agreed it's one of my fav srpg

010

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

2nd get is unfortunately a fake, being Golden Sun 2. It's one of the first I bought so I wasn't quite aware yet of the very obvious signs of it being fake. The seller didnt know so I should get a refund soon. The hunt for it continues I should get two very good picks tomorrow

100

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

it's genuinely never been more over for the decomp/modding scene now. everything is a vibecoded barely functional mess shat out to get twitter clout. there's no point anymore

finally beat part 1 of my first route in FE Fortune's Weave. only took some 40 hours to do so (this game is insane) three to go

000

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

First get is the very underrated Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. confirmed real after disassembling it and comparing the PCB. Had to clean the pins with some isopropanol but it's almost as good as new super happy given it was only 5 bucks!

241

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

going to make a thread documenting my new hobby of rebuying my childhood game boy/color/advance games while trying to avoid fakes as much as possible

130

Kano @kano01.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

holy shit! I'm so happy for them. if they had to shut down i think that would have been the end for me
