vocal booth is not *pretty* but my god is it nice to record in. it’s quiet enough here that my clothes are the loudest obstacle. N1 mic works sooooo well in this environment.

progress! still need to buy acoustic blankets and stuff of that flavor. frame is PVC-glued in critical positions, but can be disassembled in discrete pieces. audio stuff mounts cleanly and yes, an iPad can actually power the whole setup. I could take this places! :D

Never really clicked in my head that grease pencils were a Thing for sketching, and they might be my new favorite for newsprint doodles... they don't erase (good, commit!), have nice blending, don't need sharpening, and are low-waste. (doodle is a potential thumbnail for vid but might scrap it :P)
