You don’t need to watch The Office, Ted Lasso, or Cheers. Put Brooklyn 99, Mash, Seinfeld and Friends to the side and get out there and be a part of your own sitcom. Talk to your neighbours and coworkers and build that sense of solidarity that we crave.

One thing that has been interesting for me realizing after getting involved in Safer Streets advocacy is the number of people who’s opinion fundamentally amounts to “as long as nobody ever makes a mistake anywhere; we’ll have a totally safe system.” Yet don’t realize it.

Did you know the rules don’t actually mean anything? For example, I’ve always said that if you have a protected monopoly that is run for profit you couldn’t possibly be an essential service - because that would be an ethical contradiction.

I am completely convinced that the problem is cultural and nothing else. It’s entitlement and privilege. If society is constantly sending subconscious signals that drivers are at the top, of course people are going to start to believe it.

What do you use? I need a new camera for mine, the screen cracked after I was hit this spring. I’ve been leaning toward an action cam that has a dash cam mode so I don’t need to worry about pulling it off and charging it all the time

Someone right hooked me at McDermid and Princess yesterday and right before she started her inappropriately quick right turn I screamed STOP and when she kept going I screamed it again and this time she turned to see me about 2 feet from her passengers window (I had also stopped)
