We’ll find out when Grok creates its “historically accurate” Odyssey.

Here are a couple of cloaks from movies coming out next year (The Death of Robin Hood and The Odyssey). You're on trend.

Netflix doesn't want the cable channels, so even if they end up taking the company, they may end up spinning CNN off to Paramount.

It is vague but the uncertainty it creates is going to be a real, huge, and immediate issue for productions in prep right now.

I don't think the article makes clear that the English-speaking voices are humans, and (as you say above) just the mouth movements are digital. It's also being used to change dialog in shot scenes; could save on reshoot costs sometimes (or awkwardly cutting to someone's back when they say a line).

Did you get a takedown notice? There's nothing in the store anymore. 😢

You can use Letterboxd for finding where movies are streaming. TV coming, apparently, but not quite yet.

We should be able to use our opposing team’s best player. Or why stop there? Let’s bring in the best player wherever he is, and just pause the game until he arrives at the stadium!

What do you mean by “35mm scan” exactly? All (35mm-shot) movies shot on film are scanned from a 35mm element. Do you mean a scan from a print? Or an IP or negative?

I would like to speak up today for the trans community. You see, I know a bit of what it’s like to be politically scapegoated. When Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941, suddenly anyone in America who had any amount of Japanese ancestry became suspect. Politicians preyed upon ignorance and fear. /1

I just realized I haven't posted yet. Been lurking for some time, but since it's Caturday, meet Hazel.
