I'm bewildered how quickly people get mad when you ask a question online. Call me old, but the vitriol for simple things is wild. Yeah, people are more miserable, and the world sucks, but sometimes asking a question is just a question. We should be encouraging people to learn, not shitting on others

I know algorithms suck at showing us what we actually like and all, but why does TikTok and YouTube all assume I want to buy Pokémon cards? I haven't collected one in fifteen years and I couldn't name 80% of the modern ones. I don't care about these pieces of cardboard, dude.

One of the struggles of explaining to my mom what I do is how long it all takes. For most licensing deals, we are lucky if we see results of working together in six months, if not potentially years. If I am good at my job, then I have deals secured for the next two to three years.

I only do a handful of approvals at my company as most of my job is in the business side. Regardless, this is unfortunate to see. Humans make mistakes, that's true, but someone spend hours drawing this. Then, in theory, it was checked by one or multiple people. That's the wild part.

As an individual, I think I simply prefer things more tight-knit. I still have fond memories of #EricNam mentioning my name in a Happy Birthday segment. Or when the lead singer of #OneOkRock stated my Japanese was good (I didn't know their English was so good at the time xD).

I will say I had some psychobabble thoughts while being there. With 70k+ people cheering and singing, it must feel sort of disconnecting in a way. How do you connect when you are looking at a sea of people? It is almost worship-like in a way.

The pyrotechnics were really cool. The sheer amount of fireworks and how often they launched was insane. The technical side of the show was impressive beyond just the audience and performers. Some of the screen effects did hurt clarity, which was really my only complaint.

For example, it was wild to learn their penlights sync. I still have an old, standard King Blade. A fan told me they stop supporting the old versions though, so any penlight you buy only really works for one or two tours. That part does not feel great.

It was my first stadium concert. I have done a lot of smaller or mid-size shows for #OneOkRock, #Evanescence, #BabyMetal, and a ton of indie artists. This was on another level in terms of production.

Gosh, I didn't even get to post about LVL Up Expo! I had a wonderful team that really busted their butts at the booth. We had long days, w/ heavy boxes, and everyone took good care of each other. The fans were lovely, and we tried our best to give as many people a memorable experience as possible.
