“out of nowhere” as if i haven’t experienced a tragic loss. this was entirely expected and i anticipated feeling this way in fact. life sucks a lot sadly! and it’s gonna suck for the rest of what i have of it but that’s okay. you learn to live alongside its suckiness somehow

i just be lying to my white patients about my hair now. one of them complimented my french curls, asked if they were mine - i said yes cos i wasn’t getting into allat - and i said i would be cutting them off soon. she asked me to donate the hair and i didn’t have the heart to tell her the truth 💔
