When you go through all the obstacles that kept coming up - It was an absolute nightmare. Each one leaving us even more depleted. We literally couldn’t catch a break all season long. That why my take is to write it off and just start over again with a clean slate. Instead of holding a grudge.

As for being account able to fans. Who the fuck are we? We’re not his bosses or his players. A manager can give you that sheen if you want him too, but not all managers are built to play that game.

I’m 100% sure he’s being accountable and having conversations with the club about the season. He’s also had one of the toughest seasons I’ve ever witnessed as a Liverpool fan in I remember back to early 80s.

On a serious note, most people dramatically underestimate the impact of emotional and mental drain from grief. Grief that gets rekindled every match day. It leaves an emptiness where drive and competition used to be. It’s no surprise to me that we found it hard to recover from setbacks in game.
