My doctor stopped the methotrexate after 3 weeks of trying. Its been a week since the last dosage; I've now realized I was not a real being for those 3 weeks. The lethargy/fog mostly gone, I can function again. It's insane the night & day. Never again. That drug negated everything I took to exist.

My lead told me he doesn't know how I handle everything going on with my health. All I could say was at least I'm not waking up at night from the eye pain and crying. The nausea is actually a step up.

Briefly thought about going back to VFX Then I saw the ridiculous hours, low pay and incredibly (but worthwhile) challenging work... I'm not that young anymore...Guess I stick with general software engineering. Sighhh. TLDR: Midlife crisis still happening, uprooting to Japan wasnt enough.

Made the mistake of replacing the 6mo old mattress because I didn't realize it had coils and wasn't a full fledged memory foam one...plus it was hurting my back, and I was no longer getting deep REM sleep... Now I sleep so soundly, remember my dreams, and struggle to wake up early now.
