Suspicious Telegram post claiming my Telegram account has limited functionality and will be deleted unless I press a "Start Verification" radio button. Interestingly enough the font making the claim is different from the default. "Not an official account" and "user updated name less than an hour ago" are also on the post.

Gemini can eat my entire ass. I don't fucking want to use AI for rudimentary tasks. I have specific tasks that I can do myself, and being able to ask my phone to perform that task saved me a couple of screen clicks. Forcing me to use AI to do that is not the play here.

I needed voice response (Google assistant) to do two specific actions: to do clock things and to calculate things. Now that I can't talk to my phone to do that anymore without a shitty AI, not only will I not switch to Gemini I will do everything I can to uninstall that shit, @developers.google.com

I hate the trope where someone has something poignant or important or otherwise plot relevant that would be life-changing for the characters to hear but gets frequently blocked from revealing this info from phone calls or knocks on the door, kicking the can down the road until a heel-turn happens.

I don't want to play randos. I don't want to play competitively. I just want to have fun and many random people aren't fun to play against. I always figured that if I had a core group of friends to play and learn with we could learn at the same pace, but none of my friends like the genre.

Been a growing feeling that my fighting game days are well behind me and not worth any more time or money investment because the people I want to spend time with equate learning these games with walking barefoot on broken glass. It makes me sad because these are people I want to spend time with. :(
