MAN I finished Peaky Blinders and I gotta say the ending is probably one of the few good ones I've experienced for shows that run for around the same length. Though maybe my bar is so low after GoT 😭 I just feel like its hard to find a balance of a good finale that also feels satisfying!

Some people might not be aware, but it is entirely possible that without Dolly Parton we wouldn’t have had a COVID vaccine. She partly funded Moderna’s research and gave the largest individual contribution to make it all happen. Just gives you an idea of the kind of person she was.

🐕 welcome home

Illustration showing a scene of two of my original characters, Connor & Boris, coming in through the main door to a totally sacked living room. Torn jackets, broken pots, ravaged pillows and plushies, a fallen chess table and a broken chair, just to name a few of the apparent crimes.
The mess is likely caused by Connor's two doberman dogs, Luka & Pepper, whose mouths are full of plushie stuffing as they look up at their new audience.
Connor seems quietly miffed, while Boris burst into laughter.
Despite the turmoil, the athmosphere is warm and homey.

Description:
My family dog recently passed away and this idea that I had had in my drafts for a few weeks suddenly felt very appropriate to pick up. I would like to note that this is pretty unrealistic cause Luka and Pepper are service dogs and would not at all do this but.... yknow..... maybe Boris has been scheming with them?? Like the buttwipe he is. Afterall, if it doesn't make sense, blame druid magic LMAO.
I also had the sadder idea of, since the shade of the outside they come from is this bright nothingness that I've often used in art related to either character's passing - that this scene could be a delusional, faux memory Boris' brain conjures up when he succumbs to the grief of losing Connor... mm :(
Either way, I love the pedestrian moments between these characters that are otherwise so stuff full of DRAMA. I love seeing Connor miffed. I love seeing Boris laugh....
