Adams Memorial "The Mystery of the Hereafter and The Peace of God that Passeth Understanding" by Augustus Saint-Gaudens. Sculpted in memory of Marian Hooper Adams, one of the earliest portrait photographers.

A statue dedicated to Marian Hooper Adams. The sculpture is not of her, but an allegorical sculpture of an androgynous figure covered in draped fabric. Only their face and arm are visible.

Marian was a photographer, she suffered with depression after the death if her father. Eventually taking her own life by ingesting chemicals used for developing film. Her husband hired Augustus Saint-Gaudens to craft this memorial.

Adams told the artist to look to Buddhist imagery for inspiration.

Complicated Organs, an album I did the cover for was featured in Ether Diver's Other People's Music blog this week. I photographed the album cover of the organ on fire, as well as the single cover linked in the post, of the book also on fire. There's a bit of a theme here.

I'm disgusted that users are opted in by default. Unfortunately, it won't help the fact that my photography has been uploaded by others (including my face) along with so many other artists. Pinterest knows the majority of the content uploaded there is not by the owner of the images.
