Finally, rebuilding this project in #java with #jbang paid off: owi-cli-java is up to 23× faster than the original Python version. Nobody tell me Python is for performance anymore. 😄 tangled.org/kaizensphere...
Comparison of OWILIX execution times in Python and Java, using the same data and the median of 5 runs. For short commands: startup takes 0.46 s in Python versus 0.02 s in Java; local listing 0.46 s versus 0.02 s; aggregation over 150,000 rows 0.53 s versus 0.11 s; aggregation over 15 million rows 0.63 s versus 0.19 s; JSONL export of 50,000 rows 0.67 s versus 0.26 s. For heavy workloads: semantic search over 530,000 vectors takes 3.86 s versus 1.14 s; a `SELECT 100` scan over 15 million rows takes 3.08 s versus 2.87 s.

Bluesky keeps showing me your beautiful pics of nature, so I decided to go outside 🚶🏾‍♂️🌳 Now you have mine.

Me trying to sleep after deciding I’ll handle it tomorrow 😅
Four-panel comic. A pink brain asks a woman lying in bed, “Hey, you goin’ to sleep?” She replies, “Yes, now shut up.” Just as she settles down, the brain says, “Ooh, wait, I have an idea of what was wrong.” In the final panel, she is wide awake in the dark, staring with alarm.

Short answer: no. Long answer: Still no. eIDAS 2.0 and EUDI Wallet won’t be required for everyday purchases. But when a transaction requires proof of identity, age or eligibility, you could share only what’s needed without handing your full identity to a third party that may, exploit or sell it.
Displayed question: “Do you think you’ll need to comply with eIDAS 2.0 and the EUDI Wallet to make purchases in the future?” A shopping bag beside a verified identity card represents the possible use of digital identity for future purchases.

Short answer: No. Long answer: Still no, but it can help reduce your identity verification costs. The infrastructure and tools are already available within the EUDI ecosystem, potentially reducing the need to rely on a separate third-party verification provider.
Displayed question: “Do you need to comply with eIDAS 2.0 and the EUDI Wallet for identity verification?” An identity card protected by a shield represents secure digital identity verification.

All you gotta do is leave it better than you found it. #Cycling #AndAlsoTheTrees

On m’a envoyé cette capture. Je pense qu’elle mélange trois mécanismes, ce qui brouille l’analyse et la rend alarmiste. Il faut savoir que : 1. L’âge est attesté par un credential signé par un émetteur de confiance. L’attribut "+ 18 ans" n’est pas attaché au matériel ;

When your rebrand is so bad you still have to say “has-been Twitter” 🤣
Screenshot showing the app X listed as “X (formerly Twitter)” in an app store. The image points out that even after rebranding from Twitter to X, the app still has to mention Twitter in its name so people recognize it.
