Perhaps a break before Evercold will come. But I've reconnected with why this series started. Not to show off locations, but to discuss my passion for them, and make a living log of how creative we can be in these locations when we connect with our reasoning to be here.

I want to share that passion with you and I hope you feel it. I considered ending this project at a year. Delaying its posting to not reach that checkpoint. Perhaps I can bargain a break to Evercold? That's never been what it's about. It's about showing you why I love Final Fantasy as a series.

But I've answered that question. I do love it. To me, location is the fun of Gpose. The lore behind it, the moments we can craft here, and I'm reconnecting with that passion. It's my account end of the day and I want to show you me, so I will. I love this location. I love what it means.

I'm not lacking of ideas, nor locations. But as the weeks go on, I question if the effort I put into this series is worth it. On the surface it may seem simple, and it is, but selecting, taking shots and highlighting these locations takes me about two-three hours at a minimum.

Hope you enjoy this weeks. Let me use this moment to get a little personal too. You may notice I got a bit more personal in this weeks post, relating my own feelings a bit more while being a little less robotic. I'm reconnecting myself with my love for this project.

The weather here is normally clouds, but we can explore one more thing. The final room here, out of bounds, when we select and INVALID weather. It creates this stark skylight with some amazing geometric shapes, even godrays coming down.

If you fly around, you'll spot a purple orb. This is your entrance to phase two of the final fight. Anima's dimension. In here we have an utterly gorgeous platform, pulsating with a vicious glow. Alongside chains on a nice skybox. Look up and look down. These chains are gorgeous backdrops.

Lastly, let's look at Hyperborea. There are two locations here inaccessible in explorer mode, one semi-uninteresting one, one worth noting. First, the train platform from the story quest. It's similar to the one in dungeon, but lacks the connecting area.

And of course, Anima is easy enough to spawn in. Both top and bottom are connected here so play around with him. I still remember when Seymour killed his mom. God this Aeon is absolutely tragic.

I implore you to take a moment to look around here. The foreboding escapes just the arena. Destroyed castle like structures overtaken by the centipedes. A tower stretching farther into the Heavens. And if you look behind you, a doorway that looks almost like a head screaming. You see it, no?

Then there's the walkway to Anima. Cocoons line the walls, the floor is rusted and dirty and a foreboding red glow echoes in the area. God, how you teased me into thinking this would be a fantastic trial SE, and I'll never forgive you for it. It screams grief and it screams pain.

I do love me some lore. The light on the elevator platform is phenomenal and it'd be a shame not to point out just how intricate the textures and patterns are on the floor. But have you ever looked behind it? A destroyed, decrepit Garlean Throne. The story this location tells visually.

I also want to highlight the view through the broken skylights in this area. Easy to miss on your actual run-through, but looking up is especially eerie. A well positioned camera could use this as a rather insane backdrop, but don't worry, there's more of this to come.

This is where it gets interesting. Did you know I like spiders? I think they're cool. What's not cool? Fucking. Centipedes. And here they are! Robotic, everywhere, choking out the location in a nasty way. But, especially spooky for the season. Blue lights scattered to really show the nasty.

Perhaps I should've waited for the FF7 event to show off this location. Alas, keep it in mind when the time comes! (How will typing work on PS5 and Switch?) The elevator is a bit uninteresting imo. It doesn't move, so all we have is the blue glow on these platforms and the view to the next room.

We'll start by looking at what's possible in explorer mode. Starting out on our adventure through this tragic hellscape, we get on a train, blasting to the tower. This area is fully explorable and a keen eye may even notice some Magitek off in the distance. Midgar reference anyone?

I may have gone a little above and beyond in that placeholder image, spawning in Anima and everything. But I'm an FFX fan, can you blame me? Also, bonus points to whoever sees and understands the words in the post above. The name of this dungeon always stood out to me.
