Every now and then I miss making TikTok content and then I’m reminded of why I haven’t posted anything in four years. The community over there is incredibly toxic and everyone just puts each other down instead of focusing on real issues. They love making mountains out of molehills. It’s draining.

Had a lot of fun in Tahoe for my partner’s birthday. It’s nice feeling connected to nature again. Moving from Maui to Reno was brutal and I still miss the nature. Definitely need to go more and already working on future plans! If it weren’t for the cost and snow I’d move there in a heartbeat.

Ended ASC off with some drinks and a good dinner with friends at Rainforest Cafe. Had an interesting con, learned some new things, learned some tough lessons, had a ton of fun, and had tons of laughs. I love my friends and truly appreciate all of their support and love ❤️

Oh good another started while I was sleeping. This one is at least further away for now but now it looks like we may need to reroute for our drive to ASC which sucks and I still worry about it spreading. The fires here have been ruthless and spread in a literal blink. I’m over them.

So disappointed we wanted him so bad but apparently all the stores in our area are only selling the display ones that are already dirty, broken, missing fur, etc. I’ve even seen some at other locations missing an arm. And the display ones are only going to be sold at the end of the season so

As annoying as it was having to spend over an hour scrubbing my fridge from rotting milk after we were evacuated and lost power from the Hawk Fire, and having to throw everything out, the clean fridge is nice. Not that it was super dirty beforehand, but everything looks a bit shinier now haha.

Living in a small-ish town with a small airport is interesting. Super easy to get through TSA and the terminals aren’t far. And then you’ll see someone you went to high school or middle school with at 5 in the morning.

I live in Nevada so there’s coyotes here but I think it’s so weird when people post coyote sightings. Like oh no, the wild animal whose home we’ve built on is walking through to get to its home or find food. And I understand the sentiment of warning others so they can keep your pets safe
