For my fellow unemployed games people, remember that you still matter, the silence in your inboxes does not decrease your value. You've done good work and you will do great work again soon.

I’m absolutely going to lose sleep over this

Kai Ajayi @kaisureshot.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

It’s a bit of both, defenders are looking to block shots more than win the ball and that allows opponents to fake them out. The goalie could be a solution where they come out and grab the ball but overall it’s just a lack of hustle in our own 18 yard box

How do you fix a team who can technically play, but constantly loses because they let the same kind of goal in?

Maybe I would get a better response in the job market if I applied to be a house husband. I’m pretty good at cooking and doing dishes, I’ve had lots of practice over the last 5 months.

This is what filmmaking is about, seeing a gap in an art form and creating your way into making something new for the viewers to experience. How do you expand a story from the action vs reaction, add the chaos of life itself and watch how it becomes something real and unique.

Kai Ajayi @kaisureshot.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

I know that’s not how it works, I know you’re supposed to elevate the genre, but I would need at least 2 years to process and come up with a reply

I pity any action movie that releases this year, because what The Furious did for the genre as a whole would make me want to pack it in

Do you ever watch a movie and think to yourself… I really wish this was a game instead? Maybe I’m just weird and miss that era of summer blockbuster movies having tie in games. I just feel like I would have loved to play Masters of the Universe as a game

I don't know what I would have done without having this coaching gig. Being able to be productive and give back to the community as a coach for my U11s (My Sons) has been the healing I never knew I needed. Arsenal winning the EPL helped too I guess.

The only thing worse than the boredom of unemployment is having to explain to your Nigerian parents who were always against you getting into gaming, that everything is fine and that you don't need to spend more money that you don't have on getting another degree.
