Had a lovely Open Studio today at StudionAme this work in progress ‘Lichenthrope’ created today is the painterly impressions of the stains/mould that grew on the paper after a roof leak earlier this year, testing the way materials react to each other when soaked with water…

December 13th 2017 - probably the most famous Car Park in the country becomes the most protected, as it is listed by Historic England as a scheduled ancient monument on this day in 2017, protecting it from future development and infringement from the surrounding built environment

When I started my career ‘in ruins’ one of the places I now run wasn’t even an idea in anyone’s head, not even for the ‘if only’ future… and subsequently I left Leicester at the start of the millennium and did not return until two years after he had been rediscovered.
