I love the sitar, but restringing them is hell. I got a sitar years ago and decided to restring it so I could record a sample pack. I spent 3 hours fighting with that thing to re-learn how to restring it. Started tuning and immediately popped the second string... The struggle just to record a riff

Thank you all for being very verbose about your politics; it makes it much easier to mute the cancer.

@fatshark.se I'm going to call you out here as well you cuntbags: Fuck you, You lied in your marketing, you refuse to refund a product you lied about to sell. What you are doing is outright fraud and should be punished.

Just dive in and enjoy the art without the cancer. The game is completely unnecessary to enjoy the show.

I NEVER THOUGHT OF THIS! I must try this now, my liver and my palate demands it.

Nah, the next one should take place ENTIRELY in a Sen's Fortress Style labyrinth. Each layer having its own gimmicks, traps, secret areas, and horrifying abominations as you descend. I want them to kick up the oppressive atmosphere to 1000% for the next one.

Anyone know a good place I can find regional bird recordings to use in film (preferably royalty free/free)? I need a dawn chorus recording of the birds in/around Cairo and I can't seem to find many HQ recordings. #SoundEngineering #Audio #Filmmaking

Night In Tunisia performed by Jesús Molina. The timing of the track has been stuck in my head for the past several days now.

A jazz/bossa nova style track I did with my friend. I wrote the instrumental and she just belted out the lyrics: www.youtube.com/watch?v=5dYc...

This was a fun track to make. I'd like to come back to this kind of style for a future song. #funk #rock

I think this section captures the vibe the book goes for:

But the jist of the story is that the main character is the only one in the town that treats and respects this odd homeless man in his town iirc

Kaid Studios @kaid-studios.bsky.social · 18/11/2024

There was a homely/accepting nature to the story. I feel I need to reread the story because I think there were a lot of concepts/ideas that I was oblivious to as a kid. I still remember the main character using a buttercup flower to mark his spot on the field while playing baseball.

I thought the Chicken Big Mac was alright but the visions of my ancestors made it hard to appreciate the flavor. It was crispy tho

Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit... It went from a compelling mystery to: "lol matriks fight withe helicopers and AI demons might end wurld". I've never seen a good premise fall apart in such a way, so quickly. 48%... Thats about the progress point where the story falls apart iirc.

I did the same thing with tequila in college. It was supposed to be tequila fried rice with beans... instead it was just rice drenched in tequila... it was bad 🤮. "1 for the pot, 2 for the chef"

I wish I could just drop audio files here to share stuff like I would share a meme. I've made some "happy accident" shitposts while makings music and samples 😁

That's what its supposed to be but its very janky at the moment, I've just been adding new controls as I learn how to use pd. The goal is to learn enough so I never have to buy a VST again lol

Not feeling the "Better than twitter" vibe here. Over the first few hours on here I've still had to mute about as many accounts as I did on twitter just to get away from toxic political discussions. However in terms of granular control I'm loving being able to filter and mute by tags&keywords.

I love that I can filter out all political posts by associated tags. The platform is actually decent to use with this function. Now I can actually find new artists/creators that I find interesting
