I heard a Boris Johnson speech; pretty bizarre talking about fighting authoritarianism while implicitly supportive of Trump other than light criticism of DJ’s handling of Ukraine. To your point, BJ did mention multiple events of democratic bodies applauding as they handed the keys to dictators.

The Trump talking points seem to focus on reducing/eliminating attacks on energy facilities. By my demented view, it would be great if the focus was on eliminating attacks on residential, educational and public transit entities. He does sound real tough and pissed off; POINTS FOR STYLE🤮🤮🤮

Assuming the “laugh” refers to Kamala, I was surprised that it wasn’t an issue that was discussed in 2024 (to my recall). Some quirks hit home with a number of a number of voters like tilting your head and smirking or pushing your hands apart and together. Apparently a nasally laugh didn’t score.

1/2 Great post. Thx I recently read The Hornet’s Nest by Jimmy Carter. I thought it was enjoyable and informative as a perspective on the Rev War from a southern POV (both from major and minor players) including sinking one’s own ships to block enemy’s navigation of the river.

Not sure what movie it is, but I enjoyed “End of Oak Street” for many reasons. Perhaps mostly b/c of some decent edibles. My wife and friend were Les impressed. Take my opinion with a grain of salt. Some of the “scary” parts hit the sweet spot.
