‪ While I love that I only work days, the days are exhausting currently and the energy I have for art is so minimal. I need to get caught up on some bills/cards (cause interests and all that) but the commission market is *extremely* tight right now. I don't know how else to go about it. (1/2) ‪

This is why I can't find energy to do anything. I work retail. I do online orders. I work in a World Cup hub store. I'm constantly moving. Much like Amazon with this bullshit "time quotas" (which, honestly is bullshit- are the orders finished before fedex arrives? That's what should matter...)

An exhausted man scratching his lower back as he continues to get ready for work. The text says "Work Shirt" with an arrow pointing on the left and "skritch" on the lower right.

Looking at an old reference that needed some cleaning up, and so I'm doing that while I have an art bug- a little one, like an art gnat.

This right here. This was an amazing commission for my mom and he did an outstanding job. Look em up, get a commission, support amazing artists!

Kage Hikoshi- TFF ART SHOW IN PROGRESS @kagehikoshi.bsky.social · 20/06/2026

Just want to say for all the artists i get through TFF and the bidders, thank you. That percentage in commission goes here. My friend is on tour here and showed me the sign, their brother (also my friend) volunteers but i had no clue on that. We really are making little differences

It is a sign that says

Since 2009 Texas Furry Fiesta has stood beside CARE-quietly, consistently, and generously.
Your supoort has carried us throigh hardship, medical emergencies, frowth, and transformation.
You are not simply donors.
You are partners in our promise.
Every pawprint here carries your spirit.

With heartfelt gratitude.

I was getting my stuff answered for my new doctor's appointment and when asked how long I'd been taking hormones it dawned on me- likely today, 5 years ago, was my first injection into this journey. Crazy.

Kage Hikoshi- TFF ART SHOW IN PROGRESS @kagehikoshi.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

I hate Plume dropped insurance. It was the only reasonable way for me to stay on my hormones and because of how often i inject it was insane spending 300 just to refill and then once a quarter for labs. I wasnt monthly but had to pay monthly while i still pay for insurance (family)... do better

I was in a funk and @snowdrifted.bsky.social put away her art we had fun drawing characters from memory. I honestly couldnt remember the Beast and that makes me sad. #beautyandthebeast #badfanart

A horrible memory drawing of Beast from Beauty and the beast and hes saying "This is the face of a killer Belle"

Man, going through my art before I started working full time and it's so amazing looking compared to to what I have to offer now. I want to be in a place to do decent commissions to pay down my card and do wedding prep -_-;;

It's done. I started it last year with just the rough sketch and the background image and I decided to finally complete this image. I'm happy with how it came out. My OC Kage just...uh doing magic I guess? I actually had to figure out his official colors and outfit for this. #oc #magicaloc

A male is standing in a very strange pose, hand outstretched towards you as some light smoke/magic come from it and swirls around you. Don't know what's going on but are you going to stick around to find out?

🐲 With surgery less than 5 days away, we are dealing with the looming scenario of being out of work for a few days/a week to recover, along with being pinched this week due to other mitigating circumstances. We’re still open for story commissions, or simply donations if you’re feeling generous.

Did I post this? Did I finish this? (The answer for both is *no*). This was from a scene in my head to a song I wish I could animate of Snow being shown what her other future could have been if she'd just have behaved. It's likely still a wip, that's why it looks so janky :D #wip #oc #darkelf

I'm so mentally exhausted thinking about going back to work- the muchmuch higher ups have made my environment far less appealing and for small reasons that don't increase productivity- just cause they wanna feel important. So, job hunting for something with benefits (sucks) and flexibility.

Day off and instead of doing art- doing chores that need to get done. I'm still trying to work out what I can offer for commissions because I want to make extra towards a wedding (next year? We hope?) Everything has been going to bills for the most part.

000

Kage Hikoshi- TFF ART SHOW IN PROGRESS @kagehikoshi.bsky.social · 06/02/2026

Eventually going to get some form of commission thing goin- all proceeds will go to the wedding fund because it'll be the only way to get anything saved up! I guess stay tuned for that information- I don't have many SFW examples T_T

I hate that I'm stuck on dollar signs with my wardrobe during transitioning. I had quite a feminine look before and my wardrobe doesn't quite fit the same way anymore, but I don't know what to do with it. I'd love to be able to afford to replace, but it's been difficult, so it's been hard to let go.
