I work w IEP kids all the time. Many of them have just been square-pegged by a brittle tin-eared system that values all the wrong things. I minored in Child Psyche and studied androgogy in grad school. I pulled my kid from k12 in 10th grade because it was pure unredeemable flag-worshipping trash.
