I hate wrapping presents because after I finish I'm like "...now that it's out of my sight, how do I know that the present is in there? what if I accidentally wrapped a bomb? what if it's just an empty box?" and have to fight the urge to open it and check

I would like to make it known as well that ANGEL FIELD takes place in the north east of England which makes it very funny (to me) that the cast is full of rainbow hair anime people

thursday - understanding in a car crash #art.tsk

Digital drawing of a person with a distraught expression, standing behind a mangled car, seemingly reaching out, with a background rooted in abstract art, with cool blue tones. Debris and shattered glass are floating about in the composition.

I think the reason I never understood the drag queen panic is that if you're British you probably saw your first drag queen at age 7 in a pantomime adaptation of Cinderella and turned out fine so the idea that they're like . corrupting the youth just seems ridiculous to you

I've never finished a writing project before so my worry is that the visual novel is going to suck by default no matter what because it's my first (hopefully) finished thing . which discourages me LMFAO . like it's not my first time WRITING but, yknow

I think it's funny that half of my favourite horror films are either mockumentaries or found footage. (also if you're looking for stuff to watch for Halloween, I rec all of these! although a few of them are not 'fun' spooky I would say)

A screenshot of a Letterboxd list of the following films:

- Suicide Club
- Lake Mungo
- The Borderlands / Final Prayer
- Ghostwatch
- Noroi: The Curse
- The Blair Witch Project
- Skinamarink
- Super Dark Times
- NOPE
- The Thing
- The Others
- Sleepaway Camp
- Tag
- Halloween

i love making things complicated for no reason. Stay Right Here isn't on streaming yet because i want to release it in an EP with other yet to be released Angel Field related songs, and THAT can't be released until i finish programming an entire chapter of a visual novel to release at the same time

I actually secretly liked "Topaz"'s design a lot (she reminded me of Reisen somehow?) and it's not surprising - but still kinda baffling - that it's because it turned out to be someone else's OC that they just sort've . Reappropriated (with the artists permission)

010

dima @kafkadtm.bsky.social · 26/10/2024

hello, i'm bored so, welcome to Selky Facts Genius episode 1.

a screenshot of text reading:
- prior to coming onto land she didn't really spend a lot of time in her human form. it resulted in some behaviors that perturbed the people around her (like catching a fish with her bare hands and attempting to eat it in one go. she also unfortunately did not realise this would make her sick)
- related to this, in her seal form she can't really taste umami or sweet flavours as much, so as a human she really enjoys them
- she dresses like a circa-2010s disney channel actor in her personal life, any time you see her in an outfit that's stylish or normal looking, assume it was the doing of a stylist
- lore-wise she's actually not a 'true' selkie who, in this universe are not born but sort've just 'spawn' (it's believed they are reincarnations of people lost at sea). her father is human and her mum is selkie so she's actually technically only 'half' selkie
- she's surprisingly a big party girl !!!
- selky has a tendency to pick up and then swiftly abandon hobbies, but the ones she's stuck with are (ofc) her interest in idol-related activities, djing, and acting
- in-universe, she starts off as a indie/self-made idol with the support of her friends, but is then picked up by a bigger agency. because selky is really interested in trying out new, shiny, ideas, despite becoming more 'mainstream', she still says yes to strange, avante-gard projects if she finds them interesting. in particular, she finds it fun to do ones with a more edgy vibe because it's the complete opposite of herself.
- selky is, ofc, not her real name, but her real name can't be pronounced by humans physically
- shes GAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- also she's canonically quite tall like . i want to say 6 feet . i feel like maybe thats too much i haven't committed to this fact
