They said this was filmed on Halloween 2025 so she must have been very pregnant at the time of the shoot. I think their second child was born at the beginning of 2026. I assume she was (understandably) just uncomfortable moving around with a baby bump in a heavy dress on a warm set. 😅

We need to stop seeing neurodevelopmental conditions (and mental health conditions) as character flaws. However, the response shouldn't be to frame them as gifts or superpowers. They can and do have negative impacts, but they can and do have neutral or even protective elements too at times

There's a pretty famous joke that has been floating around forever where a guy tells his grandma (or any family member) that he is gay and they freak out. But the punchline is they actually don't care about him loving men. They thought "gay" was another word for vegan and THAT'S not okay.

6.) Keep turning up. Disabled people often lose friends and support after the first novelty of the situation has worn off and people get tired of accommodating. The tenth crisis can feel less urgent then the first one. But it isn't. And we still need compassion, love and support from our friends.

5.) Keep the world open for them. When anything and everything in your life suddenly revolves around illness, the world can become a very still and small place. Keep the world open for them. Tell them about your day. Send those silly memes. Share those cute baby pics. Make plans together!

4.) Listen. It's often hard to talk about the shittier things happening. The system can make you feel like a burden and stuff can get heavy and scary quick. Be the person where your friend can just rant or cry without judgement. Just listen, validate, offer a hug (or some well-selected curses).
