Kickboxing lesson ended with a TWO minute planking session. Ouch.. I barely made it. To think though that beginning of this year one minute of planking was pushing my limits, this is improvement I can be proud of!

Had the reunion of my old Scouting group where I was a member from my 6th till around my 23rd. So good to see everyone old and new, as well as to see that nothing changed, yet everything changed. I’ll always carry a warm heart for Scouting.

First kickbox training last night after 4 weeks hiatus. Who almost passed out after immediately pushing himself too much on high speed moves? This guy.. Good going, me! Missed the rest of the training after that little stint. I got to learn to slow down next time.

The harvest begins.. <3 Let’s see how much raspberry liqueur I can make of them this year!

A bowl with the first few raspberries of the year, about 8 in total, grown on my own raspberry bush at home.

Second part of the vacation was camping in the south of Wales, near Port Talbot. Just to go camping for a few days. Relax, explore, stargaze, bbq, have a campfire, share stories and get to know a friend better. It was really slow paced and chill. Absolutely lovely. Both Wales and the companionship.

First part of my vacation was EMF Camp 2026. A nerdy festival on the border of Wales, for everything creative. So many cool things to see and do.. There were talks, workshops, art displays and so much more to see and do. It was incredibly awesome to be at! <3

Still feeling messed up since hearing a friend of mine passed away due to a motorcycle accident last weekend. Like a glassdoor has been closed and locked inside my mind. I can still see the memories, but not add to them anymore. It hurts. And will for a while longer.. :(

Concert #2 of 2 this week! Sunn O))) An experience I can only describe as the sonification of shifting tectonic plates.. Played at a 0,01% speed and a constant 120dB. So loud you could feel it with your entire body! They’re called a drone metal band for a reason.. Really good to have seen them!

Concert #1 of 2 this week! A Perfect Circle Absolutely great performance! At times the music really lifted the crowd along and it felt like a raw blanket was draped across everything.. Really good energy! <3 Thanks to @dacapopanda.bsky.social for joining! Was a great fun evening together!

A little jackdaw landed in my garden. Little bugger’s hiding in the bushes. I’ve put down some water for it so it has some and then give it some space, see if it finds its way out on its own.

Looking to replace most of my Google services, like mail, docs, drive with something less.. evil. As well as to get a proper VPN. Anybody here that has experience with Proton as a replacement for all of that? Or a recommendation for anything else that's good? Would love to hear!

Had a wonderful day at a stained glass workshop last friday. Very insightful for all the techniques and steps of the proces. A pricier hobby than I realised, with cost for glass and tools being up there. Interesting still.. Came home with a nice little finished piece at the end of the day!

Saw Project Hail Mary tonight! Yes! It was what I hoped it would be! They kept true to the book and did a good job! Maybe threw in a tad too much humor where they could not incorporate the main character’s thoughts, but the movie carries itself well. I am happy! Go see it! Good movie!

In Austria for wintersports with work. I can’t recommend flying off the rödelbahn (toboggan) track. I flew down a 4 meter drop and landed onto the skiing slope next to the rödelbahn track. I went left, my sled went right, but I walked away unscathed.
