Alright, I finished editing last night. I still need to record a trigger warning message for the beginning and add it in, but otherwise, it’s finally done. 🥲

Oh I probably won’t move there. I love living in Canada, but I love to dream about the idea of living in NYC. Might just do a month long remote work situation instead haha

Combo of both. NYC was always the only city I saw myself moving to for so long, but the lack of healthcare in the US discouraged me. But my dad is a citizen, and I always dreamt about living there, and every time I go, I want move there.

Reminder to my fellow 🇨🇦: buy your comics locally if you can. If you must buy online, buy from Canadian shops on places like eBay. I regularly order from 🇨🇦 shops there, no tariffs/duties/other costs than shipping/taxes. These are from Dungeon Comics & CaptCan Comics on #xmen #comics

Tony is probably one of the best biopics I’ve seen in many years I went in pretty blind, as I didn’t know much about Bourdain other than his various shows. I love it as a story of a loser figuring out his way in life—a feeling I still grapple with a lot even as mid-30s woman. Highly recommend!

Good night 😴 “Our society thrives increasingly on stupidity. It depends on people going along with what they are told. The media promotes a cultivated stupidity as a posture that is not only acceptable but laudable.” G.T. Pickering

I’ve read many fanfics that don’t even attempt the accents, and it still reads well. Write however it makes you comfortable and the audience for it will enjoy it 🥰 And I know I’ll be reading!!

Correction: my total comic book, trade paperback, and manga collection has 773 individual entries, not single-issue comics. It's probably closer to 600 for single-issue comics. I use CLZ Comics to track what I own so I don't buy duplicates, and I just saw "773" as the total number.

kaebear89 @kaebear89.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

This is 773 single-issue comics! Everything is organized. Tho I think I've lost track of 3 comics, 2 of which I'm upset about, but I'll have to diligently go through & see if I put them in the wrong spot somewhere 😭 Anyways, here's how I organize my collection! (More boxes will be needed) #xmen

I fear I will need another short box after this round of organizing 😭

And of course, I need something in the background to watch while I tape and sort. Project Hail Mary is on the docket!

Yes, I only grab the variants I really like, sometimes I don’t even get the A cover bc I don’t love it like I do a variant.

More details of the stacks (already organized by series)

It’s comic book organizing day!! Probably have somewhere over 100+ comics to sort and box up that I’ve bought in the last 12ish months (I don’t remember the last time I did it, but it took a day to do, but this will be a lot easier bc the boxes are already organized)

Each of the cast was so sweet & generous w/ their time, even tho FanEx does not treat the legacy cast the best (😡), but I hope I can see them all again soon! If you can, I highly recommend visiting them at a con/signing/meet & greet. They truly are some of the best ppl to chat w/ about their work
