Might as well use that part of the website to upload my progress with pixel art, an ode to improvement!

Got news about this and it is looking bad. So the visdev portfolio... Yeah... Don't want to use anything from those projects...

This is my version of artists finishing an art degree and then not doing art anymore. Like, """""STUDYING"""""" for a degree can suck the soul out of you. I'm so glad I never got into a school related to comic or I would be so cooked.

Composing a lot lately. When I finished conservatoire I spent 5 years not being able to touch an instrument because of how stressful it was, but since last year I've been playing cello, bass, and even composing.

From the Dark Throne scenery and props concepts

Lord Rydor's castle. A gothic castle surrounded by white fog and flying ravens.

Props. A magic orb, a bird cage and a throne chair.

Props. A floor lamp/chandelier, a painting of Lord Rydor, a rug and two curtains.

The throne room. The walls are shelves full of books. There are dim lights and bird cages hanging from the ceiling. At the north of the room, there's a single throne chair.

Curiously enough I don't feel that way for my cello, if it had 6 strings it would be weird af

6 string basses are better and convenient that's my unpopular opinion

Dropped off. I see no future pursuing company jobs if this is the average experience. Mad at everything. Will keep making my characters fuck to feel better. Probably will make a game with my friends at some point. The same for every artist. 🤹‍♀️

The reason I haven't updated my visdev portfolio yet is because one of the companies I worked for is in a financial limbo; and the other wants to implement ai in the next few months. Like....... embarrassing..............

I wanted to give them mannerisms translated from the comic, I don't know if making them all move throughout the loops is good or not, but it seemed the right thing to do 😭

Thank you for your words! I will use the tips and critiques for the next animation. Here are some funny wips of this particular piece
