Update. First use on a hike. Overall, very positive experience. Need a little more practice on proper strap settings. Did see a new lifer - Golden-crowned Kinglet - and some old favorites, particularly Brown Creepers and Red-breasted Nuthatches.
And a chunky pika and a cinnamon bear.
