Im afraid this will either come war too late or not at all. They dont seem to know what they are doing in regard to linux compatibility. Howard here is straight up lying even. Says it worked "by happen stance" while they actively enabled and deployed the Linux EAC Module going into Beta. Insane

yeah thats what we first assumed too but this game doesnt use PSN for networking afterall. Its simply EOS with PSN account linking for... some reason. You can play online with pirated copies because of that :P that how we know

Linux guys. Come on. Flip the switch. Its not much more than that. Activate Linux Module for EAC, ship the Client module in a small update, allow Theia to run via Proton and we are good. The rest will be handled by Proton. Its not too much to ask. Its a ~10 minute task.

I really dislike SP//DERs design. She should not be a bullshit based big body. SP//DER should be a normal humanoid. A bigger one but still. But i guess someone had to fill this spot and the mech made the most sense.

You say that like they are high. Those are pretty old low tier parts. The only weird thing is the 16GB of Ram but lets be honest a modern windows system just eats so much already that there isnt much left if you only have 8. It might work with 8 on linux tho 👀

thats kinda what they did with the steam deck reservations. judging by that reservation button thats visible in place of the out of stock button for a second when opening the controller page i THINK they will use that system again for frame and machine reservations.

well that explains it. Back then they didnt really care. You could just plug any random gamepad into PS3s via USB and there was a good chance it just works. With the PS4 they started restricting it. Forcefully disconnecting controllers that failed to authenticate after a few minutes.

it actually does have to be approved. If it isnt then thats 1. probably not on PS5 since they are trying to crack down on unlicenced controllers hard and 2. going to get patched out depending on their workaround.

I was very hyped for it but i just expected more. There isnt that much content, the port is quite barebones, the graphics feel pretty cheap and on top of that the price is far too high. Should have just remastered Puzzle Bobble 2 or something.

Its basically bowsers little flying cup on wheels. The mech should have been humanoid with her inside of it rather than "on" it. The way its been depicted basically everywhere ever. Sure they are doing their own thing here which is fine but i dont like it.

Thats a bit low isnt it? Considering that something like Doom Eternal runs mostly ~70FPS native res with pretty high settings. This doesnt look like it should be as demanding as it seems

Looks great so far but there is one thing that absolutely has to be adressed for me personally: Auto Combo deactivation. I dont want them to execute on my end. Please dont force me to. Just let me hit all combos, links, whatever you want to call them by myself. I want to be in control 100%.

Other Fan Favorites you could actually implement to gain massive good will: - Sethrak - Tuskar - Murloc - Naga - Gnolls - Ogres - Arakkoa - ANYTHING EXCEPT ANOTHER STANDARD HUMANOID Of course its a bit more work but even heavily restricted in terms of Armor players would go nuts.

Guys its getting ridiculous. You showed us the Haranir in the TWW Trailer and we had like 10 Quests with them. They have been so irrelevant. We already have 2 Trolls, 4 Elves and now we get a hybrid? Also too many Dwarfs man. The Collectors Edition OOZES Void stuff. Where are the Ethereals/Brokers?

valve might actually work with retailers this time to get the steam machine into the hands of non steam users. They learned from their past mistake with the deck where people that havent already been pc gamers had a harder time. Alza is highly reputable. i dont think they would do something shady

When will you enable super sonic speed online? And while we're at it... how about you guys enable other FPS settings? I know gameplay speed is tied to FPS (which is.. less than ideal by todays standards) but you can accomodate for that the same way you did for the 2 current FPS modes.

because its without facebook breathing down your neck. On top you get better controls, appearently insanely good wireless streaming and a far better gaming eco system PLUS its a whole PC in there. You can do EVERYTHING WITH THIS. Its basically a steam deck strapped to your face.

That is how i created my Steam Account back in the day and why Portal 2 is the first game added to said account. When you created your Steam Account via the PS3 (insane how ahead of its time this was and still kinda is) your username would automatically be prefixed with "psn_" like mine is :D

It was so great. I just wish for you guys to remove the fps cap. I know it can be done. I was able to remove it but the speed of the game seems to be set to the last set framerate limit and i only manipulated it in memory. Im sure you guys can figure it out tho.

Anti Cheat itself is Not the Problem. The Finals already Had 2 of those running. Its just the anti Cheats that come with Kernel Level Drivers im worrying about.

i really wish they would just not introduce such an anti-cheat. it's the reason we (my friends and i) quit the game shortly after it's announcement. The Finals is great, possibly the most fun shooter out there right now but i wont tolerate such software on my system.
