One positive recent development was securing the Minister of Defense to finish the 1985 Topps USFL set. Completes my '84 and '85 sets. #CardSky

Putting the 1985 USFL Reggie White in the binder page to complete the set

Said goodbye to this guy this week after almost 10 years. I only wish I got the other 7 years of his life too, but I'd take that 10 years all over again in a heartbeat. Rest in peace to a king.

fun LCS1 buy this morning. cheap box of '88 Topps Stickers. 2/4 Bo back variations, rookie stickers of Okoye, Boz, Swilling, Jerome Brown. The smell of the wax wrappers. I've made many worse purchase decisions in my time.

No. 1 #Top20Grabs2024 Elly De La Cruz Topps Chrome refractor RC /75 loose pack pull, LCS1. 45/75, one off from his jersey number. Grabbed one pack to throw on my stack and it paid off. It's been a fun year of collecting and I can't wait to see what I run across in 2025. #cardsky

No. 2 #Top20Grabs2024 Marshall Faulk Topps Stars auto LCS2 grab. Despite the fading, a great add as my Faulk collection reached the 600 mark this year. It took me too long to add an auto. I miss this Rams jersey setup. Arguably the best dual threat RB ever. #cardsky

Had to add these to the honorable mentions for my #Top20Grabs2024 list Zach Gilford /50 and base A&G auto. Always good in anything he's in. Matt Saracen was a top 3 character on Friday Night Lights. Texas QB legend. Hope he & Julie are doing well in Chicago in another universe. #cardsky
