K² @k-2001.bsky.social · 06/10/2026@neildegrassetyson.com is right. Large Language Models are good at imitating our output, but they can never understand it. It would take a different type of AI to do that, if at all possible. 010
K² @k-2001.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Pretty *astoundingly* great, and I'm not even into the harsh EBM/aggrotech/hellectro scene. 120
K² @k-2001.bsky.social · 06/10/2026When it seems that everything's going to sh-t, it may be because the good news has been slipping through the cracks. 010
K² @k-2001.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Tanz Debil was my favourite track. used to play out with it almost every night I DJed. No one danced to it but me 😂 010
K² @k-2001.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Imagine Imperial time vs metric time? 😂 What we currently have is basically Imperial. We should divide the day into 10 hours, each hour into 10 minutes, etc. 000
K² @k-2001.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Watching Ghost in the Cell. I've seen a couple of great horror shorts from Indonesia, so I'm hopeful. #horrormovies #bodyhorror 021
K² @k-2001.bsky.social · 01/10/2026F I'd give my small toe for just one of these 40th anniversary #FrontLineAssembly items. Art by the legendary #DaveMcKean. See here: secondtooth.com/collections/... 000
K² @k-2001.bsky.social · 01/10/2026The latest South Park takes a dig at AI billionaires who air their uninformed opinions on podcasts. Of course, they're represented as reproductive organs living in an AI-rendered world. #satire 000
K² @k-2001.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Today marks the 30th anniversary of a #progressivetrance and #progressivehouse classic. Digweed's DJ mixes would just keep getting better during the following five years. 010
K² @k-2001.bsky.social · 26/09/2026Never watched it but I'm kinda enjoying Stuart Fails to Save the Universe. 020
K² @k-2001.bsky.social · 22/09/2026I've only watched the first few minutes, and it's certainly interesting. Will check it out later. 110
K² @k-2001.bsky.social · 22/09/2026Happy 60th to #BillLeeb! Thank you for the music that has warmed my dark, sci-fi heart over the decades, especially during the nineties. #FrontLineAssembly #cyberpunk #electroindustrial #industrialmusic 010
K² @k-2001.bsky.social · 19/09/2026I just want to say I love Carney. Anyone who refuses to be bullied by the orange man-child is OK in my book. 🇨🇦 010

K² @k-2001.bsky.social · 09/09/2026Yesterday, *60 years* ago, #StarTrek aired for the first time, and the rest is history. Bless Roddenberry and Berman for giving us the original series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager and Enterprise. #scifiseries 000
K² @k-2001.bsky.social · 08/09/2026Rewatching TeneT, and it's still the most mindfuck-d sci-fi film I know. Reverse entropy? Temporal pincer movements? Yes, please. #scififilms #scifimovies 001
K² @k-2001.bsky.social · 30/08/2026Watching a Scandinavian movie for a change. So far, I don't feel the urge to kill myself, but then this is a disaster movie, not a typical life-is-unbearable drama 😂 010
K² @k-2001.bsky.social · 29/08/2026It's a shame that the only Roddenberry- or Berman-style Trek we've got since the mid-2000s has been The Orville. I get it though – at our age, Gen X doesn't have the spending power Gen Y, Z, and Alpha have. An exception has been SNW, a gift for Trekkies of all ages 👌 #startrek #theorville #scifi 000
K² @k-2001.bsky.social · 28/08/2026Love the aesthetics of Dark Matter's intro bit. Apple TV does this with many of its sci-fi series: Foundation, Severance... #darkmatter #scifiseries 000

K² @k-2001.bsky.social · 26/08/2026If you've had a tough week, there's nothing like going to bed with freshly washed linen straight after a shower, getting up in the morning and dressing in freshly cleaned clothes, then having your hair cut and your car washed. I'm sure Freud had something to say about the need to be 100% clean. 010
K² @k-2001.bsky.social · 26/08/2026I saw Gravity 3D too! Although in a normal cinema. What a feast for the eyes that was. OK, glad I'm not the only one who thought it was overrated. I thought I might be prejudiced because of the loudness. 120
K² @k-2001.bsky.social · 26/08/2026Oh really? I'm glad I never saw it in the cinema then. The loudest I ever saw was Oppenheimer. I decided never to return to the cinema again. It was terrifying. My ears ached. I kept telling myself, you didn't pay for IMAX tickets for nothing, so stay. Moving to the back of the theatre didn't help. 110
K² @k-2001.bsky.social · 25/08/2026Had no idea. I miss En Esch. When he left, KMFDM just wasn't the same. 020
