Arguments like this made me even more incandescent with rage when we lived in DC and people would have the same complaints about new development. Even with all the growth since 2000, DC’s population is still at least 100k under its 1950 peak.

My favorite actor of late is Thaddea Graham, based on her hilarious performances as 1) Detective Houlihan in the Irish dark comedy Bad Sisters and 2) as Susie in Margo’s Got Money Troubles. These are both clever character roles, but she fills them out brilliantly.
