Got my memo pads, stickers, and keychain from @lauraillustrates.bsky.social ! Everything is so cute but MY GODS THE MANATEES.

Art by @lauraillustrates.bsky.social

A picture of various objects (described below), taken against a dark wood background.

First, in the top left of the picture, is a memo pad featuring a BIG grey manatee with a little bit of moss on its back. The Manatee is big and flat and is smiling. It's against a green-blue background.

To the right is another memo pad -this one on an orange background with a yellow memo area. It's designed to look like a big speech bubble for the black and white cat in the bottom right corner of the pad.

On top of the cat pad is a small acrylic disk keychain, see through except for the smiling grey manatee and the little grey manatee swimming together on it.

Directly underneath the Manatee memo pad is the end of a letter, showing a hand sketched manatee next to a signature on a brightly colored note.

Below all that are three stickers.
Top right - a white sheep stitching a quilt on a black sewing machine.
Bottom right - a collection of bugs (butterfly, caterpillars) on a selection of flowers
Bottom left: why yes it is another manatee. This one has fish friends.

I know I have a million OCs and that probably makes CK really hard to read sometimes but also it means we get instances like this, where the reaper Tide has to explain how his three year old sister interpreted "intercept."

Tide shook his head. "I…uh…Corrine had Ringtail eat that."

Shin snickered. "I don't know how catch and eat sound similar at all, but that's toddlers for you."

"I yelled intercept," Tide muttered. "Cory didn't know what that meant. She heard in, so it went in."

"To Ringtail's mouth," Shin finished.

Sharing @necromeowncy.bsky.social 's Gposes of the G'raha/WoL/Haurchefant trio. AGAIN. Partially because I don't have any other art of the three of them but mostly because I LOVE THIS SET SO MUCH.

Gpose from FFXIV bynecromeowncy.bsky.social

Haruchefant Greystone in Crystarium Knight attire, getting a hug by G'raha in his Crystal Exarch attire, and a forehead kiss by Arion Artemicion, Lalafell Warrior of Light.

Arion is sitting on G'raha's shoulders and Haurchefant still has to lean down some so he can reach.

Same shot as before, but from the back so and farther away to get the scale of it. Haurchefant is SO tall (original description below).

Kind of laughing at the fact that one of the happiest pictures I have of myself from the last two weeks has nothing to do with FF14 and everything to do with the giant pinecone I found. (I put it back.)

Jynx wearing a white and black striped shirt with soot sprites on it and blue jeans, glasses, and their hair is currently short and blonde. In their hands is one pinecone that is roughly half the size of their face.

They look incredibly happy about the pinecone

I debated sharing this because I didn't want it to come off as a brag or anything. But I desperately needed it today and I think there are other authors and artists who need it too. We truly never know the impact we make on others.

A crop of a comment from Archive of our Own.

It reads:

"Thank you for sharing your story with us when you find the words to tell it.

This last year has been one of the hardest of my life and your stories have been a comfort to me when I can't keep up the fight.

I hope you are able to find the support and stories you need to rekindle hope and feel some respite. It's easy to forget that our stories and art are important in times like these, but you do matter, and your stories made a difference to me and probably many more than will ever find the words to say it.

Thank you"
