Koreatown in Los Angeles, California, taken 3 March 2022 near the intersection of Wilton and Wilshire can we really tally the years, or will the memory be altered by the remembering?

all this time I felt so strange about calling myself an artist, an artist who hardly draws i went to my parents’ home, and found a box full of my sketchbooks. all of this effort in weight and material, spread out over time in such a stark visual representation i guess, i really am an artist

i've been gripped by this idea, of cybernetic eyes with parts reminiscent of a camera, shifting assemblies and moving apertures, i'm not sure why i find it so compelling so i tried to draw it

if you're sorry, then maybe make a point saying so, after dragging me through the filth of your obsession

This image is a reconstruction of a chat log with the following text.

Redacted Username: If we found a solution I’d have done everything I could to clear the designs name. As is, it’s quite radioactive and not even half due to me. People are mad
Redacted Username: Can we at least chat astrophotography? And move on
Jykinturah: I feel like you don't understand, I can tell we have foundational disagreements on many things.
Jykinturah: This is not a slight against you. As much as I want to be furious, but I'm just tired.
Jykinturah: You are the source of the outrage, you are the source of the radioactivity
Jykinturah: You claim some desire to protect your IP like you're some corporation
Jykinturah: My god.
Jykinturah: Art, community, the furry fandom, all of this, constricted down into contracts, legal threats, appealing to authority, because you and an artist had a terrible time working together. But you couldn't walk away and find a new artist, you had to make this my problem a year later.
Jykinturah: Why would I want to talk to you?

End of chat log.

I had English selected here and removed it, it seems to show only the English feed posts if I select it, but it says it will show all languages if nothing is selected!

a random assortment of sketches recently drawn it's hard to figure out what motivates me to draw, but i end up doing it all the time, on paper, on whatever device is at hand i'm not sure why they tend to be so morose

I was chatting with an artist who mentioned wanting wings to be less of a prop element and more something interactive in art, which prompted this idea where avian anthros drape their wings over their shoulders like a cape or cloak So I decided to doodle it #jykart #furry
