So my question is... What can be done to enforce this NOW rather than wait until he (hopefully) leaves and takes everything with him? We shouldn't have to wait until the end to challenge this ridiculous opinion. If we do have to wait, its a flaw in the system.

I would be interested in your findings as well. We're in the process of instituting an AI policy (all-girls HS). We've just done a student survey (not sure how honest the responses will be) and are looking at department-specific content tasks for which we would/would not allow AI tools to be used.

I am an AP Government teacher... and I'm wondering what source you use as "a history of the Constitutional Convention's debates over the presidency." I use the Federalist Papers, but I'm always looking for more sources. This might be an exercise I can tweak and use. Thanks...
