I testified against HB900 in the last session, as did an eighth-grader. If you fall anywhere between "published author" and "middle schooler," love the freedom to read, and can make it to to the Capitol in Austin this Thursday to testify, I hope you will.

I'm continually surprised by the power of things like coloring posters, the Lego table, chess sets, Rubik's cubes, and domino building stations in my MS library. Different students talk to and teach each other, and it's a great way to invite people to come together.
