Your art style is perfect for spooky game art! I can see you were having fun. :D And I hear you on the irony of how limitations can add to the quality of something. The same happened on the songs in Ocarina of Time, where only 6 notes could be used.

Take a good break, you deserve it! ☕

What is this incredibly smooth frame-by-frame animation!? ✨ Absolutely peak.

JWiesnerArt @jwiesnerart.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

I love stumbling upon small silly extra sketches like this one here which you don't post on your FA gallery for some reason. ✨ It's so cute! (Or maybe you posted it and I missed it, not sure!)

Cover photos from men's underwear is like porn for the more sophisticated taste. ✨

JWiesnerArt @jwiesnerart.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

Oh, wow! 😯 Imagine actual dragon lore was never fiction in the first place! Omg, imagine their over-usage of fire was what truly led to their extinction!

"It was my toughest case yet." *detective/noir music starts playing*

Considering birds are descendants of dinosaurs, and firehawks use fire for hunting, means that firehawks are the closest living thing we have to actual dragons so far. 🔥 Love this illustration of them!

Making Dennis a barracuda is the best idea for specific species of fish. (Or is he a pike? It wouldn't make sense in the ocean but we're talking about Spongebob show logic, so it's cool.) Also that second picture goes hard. You draw the best baddies. 🔥

JWiesnerArt @jwiesnerart.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Thank you for keeping quality 2D animation alive! 👏 I gasped a little in awe when I watched this little clip here alone.

010

JWiesnerArt @jwiesnerart.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Ohhh, what I would give to have this movie animated in your 2D style! There's SO MUCH character in this! 🔥 Especially Mike looks like an actual monster character when stylized this way.

That's a gorgeous aquarium setting ~ 💚

JWiesnerArt @jwiesnerart.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Wait, how did you START the year so good looking? 😭 I'm always still damaged by the previous year when a new one starts.

JWiesnerArt @jwiesnerart.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Aw, I'm sorry to hear that! Maybe try medical places, hospitals? Idk.

010

JWiesnerArt @jwiesnerart.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

If I was rich and had plenty of space on the walls for art, I'd purchase that first one. The purple, space-like painting! 😍 Good luck selling your paintings, though! Maybe you could ask a local restaurant to hang up your paintings on their walls, that way a guest could see and buy it?

Beautiful textures and colors! The one on the left is my favorite.

110

JWiesnerArt @jwiesnerart.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

The second one also works as: Wizard of the "woods". Makes the place sound more ominous.

JWiesnerArt @jwiesnerart.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I remember reading about the importance of including the bad stuff (death, fear, anxiety, etc) into fairy tales you read to your kids. Because those stories are supposed to prepare your kids for the world. You sugargoat it, and traumas will hit them much worse when it happens in real life.

110

JWiesnerArt @jwiesnerart.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Excellent choice. Back when Disney knew how to teach kids what true fear is, instead of tabooing or sugarcoating it. The hounds that followed in that scene were great too. Probably the most realistic Disney has ever drawn and animated dogs, ever. (I mean all this as a compliment.)

JWiesnerArt @jwiesnerart.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

That vivid green coloring of the forest in that second painting is so beautiful! 💚

000

JWiesnerArt @jwiesnerart.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I could just watch the first 4 seconds of this alone on loop. I have this huge weakness for animation that is in perfect harmony with the rhythm of the music playing!

JWiesnerArt @jwiesnerart.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I had trouble believing one could make a cool looking unicorn anthro (one that doesn't look too cheesy). But here you are making character designs like this. ✨ Kinda makes me want to draw unicorn characters now.

No problem. Never be insecure about posting personal art! In my opinion, personal art is my favorite thing because it's unfiltered, raw, directly from the artist's heart. I understand there's this vulnerability that comes with it, but the result is still beautiful to me.

010

JWiesnerArt @jwiesnerart.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

One can definitely see the comfort movie bit in this fanart. It's beautifully soft and emotional, even for a pencil drawing. You're really good at capturing feelings on paper! 🙏

Also, you just made me spend like 10 minutes reading about what dewlaps are. Learned something new. And first I misread the word and thought it's "de-wlap" and thought it's based on a French word or something. lol

010

JWiesnerArt @jwiesnerart.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

You draw the cutest bunnies. Partically fond of the shapes you use for the faces. Your bunnies feel more like real bunnies than what most other cartoon artists make out of them.

The way my brain IMMEDIATELY put self-ship photos in those, though. Ahhh. 😭✨ What a precious print. I actually like the hard edges on the chain better than the sketch version! Idk it has more character that way. More style.

These look so good! ✨ And it's nice to see insects get more love!

I'm not sure I could ever get into making stamps, I'm scared of how the mirrored version of my drawing will look. Sometimes only I realize all the mistakes of my drawings after mirroring it. 😭

I'm sorry but it's funny how your previous post makes this reply look as if you added a reaction image of you telling a funny joke and waiting for others to laugh at it.

I think you'd make a killing creating illustrations for children's books and the likes. Something about your art style is so nice and whimsical~

What I adore the most here is the way Silco looks at you. 🥺 I like it in ship art when he opens up and shows his vulnerable trusting side to his loved one. At least enough to smile and shine a bit.

This is inspiring. Imagine a plot twist behind the whole werewolf myths, that it was simply a "suvival of the fittest" situation: You either turn into a werewolf so you gain the ability to survive the horrors of the world, or the horrors of the world will kill you into extinction.
