current rune status. fully assembled, primed and base colors down (might go over the "metal" parts again, the grey isn't really doing it for me in hindsight). only weathering left now happy with how the mark and the "engraving" turned out so far #dishonored

1/4 done, depending on motivation and energy levels I might be done crafting this upcoming week? unreal #dishonored

this is working out way too well, where's the catch (the catch are the Overseers knocking at my door soon probably) #dishonored

Corvo @jvstcorvo.bsky.social · 15/04/2026

been rather productive lately! the rune is coming together nicely with its shape, I also cleaned up the lines from the textures that I can start carving the mark and the circles and everything onto it either tonight or tomorrow. it'll take forever, but it'll be worth the effort (hopefully)

Somewhat alive. Getting back to creating and finding joy in the things I like. Maybe things do get better, eventually. Not fully back on my socials, though less burnt out than the past year. Take care

Straight up forgot to share my little shrine here. Oh well, happy holidays.

Corvo @jvstcorvo.bsky.social · 08/05/2025

I swear, one day I'll get back to my Dishonored props..... I really want to, but there's no joy or energy left to work on them currently 😔

Corvo @jvstcorvo.bsky.social · 06/05/2025

Desperately wanting to be here right now

Some people seriously need to take a hint and go touch some fucking grass. Can't believe I still have to deal with this wanna-be-adult teenager who I cut ties with in January. Make your toxic stalker behavior more obvious, I dare you.

Very ooc, however. When and why did YouTubers start changing the video thumbnails so many times?? It's so confusing honestly, half the time I'm not sure if it's the same video getting recommended to me or not. Just make one thumbnail and go with it, wth

Replaying Dishonored, again. I feel you buddy

I could honestly really use someone to keep me company that I get shit done. Chores. Prop making. Phone calls. Honestly, just company to not be lonely anymore. But alas, I seem to be doomed to be on my own

Sanded down one of the bones, and Void, it's all coming together now!! Will tackle the second one tomorrow after work, also planning to get 1mm foam for their base, since, believe it or not, 2mm foam is too thick. Also, do I carve or paint the runes on that top thingy? Quite unsure...

020

Corvo @jvstcorvo.bsky.social · 21/02/2025

More Dishonored prop progress :) Bone charm's almost done, bones need to fully dry, then be sanded, shortened, details added; details missing on the not-bone part on top. Rune needed *a lot* of sanding, didn't pay attention to the edges on my thousand references, had to fix it after sculpting

120

Corvo @jvstcorvo.bsky.social · 19/02/2025

While the last part of the rune is drying I'm passing time with the bone charms from Dishonored. Big big thank you to @voidkeeper.ukr.monster for providing a high quality 3D model and the textures, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to make out any details (like the runes!) 🩶 On to crafting them

Corvo @jvstcorvo.bsky.social · 18/02/2025

Very, very unmotivated and tired at work. Mentally working on the rune... Or like, the whole cosplay. I already know I won't be able to continue with it once I'm home, I'll probably just go back to bed again 😔

So, I met this guy last night-

150

Corvo @jvstcorvo.bsky.social · 11/02/2025

Started with the base for the rune; it's 20cm high, referencing pictures of Emily holding one (hands being similar in size). Traced the basic shape from an in-game screenshot to be as accurate as possible (Dishonored/KoD), the sketch is free to use (credit is appreciated), if anyone needs it :)

Actually having a good day for once, been unusually happy despite an early shift. Suddenly life is worth living again (for today, this feeling won't last until tomorrow)

Corvo @jvstcorvo.bsky.social · 31/01/2025

Found a very nice shop last night that sells all sorts of clay and sculpting tools. Ordered there immediately, he still had four packs of the air drying clay I used in the past, it's not available anywhere else anymore sadly. Thank you, Olli, for your service and sending it out instantly 🙏🏻

Finally had some halfway decent sleep last night. Trying to get through work with little motivation or energy. Will continue playing Dishonored this afternoon, to gain the motivation to continue on the coat. First con this year is crawling closer and closer 🥲

030

Corvo @jvstcorvo.bsky.social · 06/01/2025

Last hour of my shift. Desperately trying not to fall asleep. Lovely back pain. No sewing today I fear, did manage to sew last week, though! Definitely need to adjust some things in the pattern, not very happy with some areas (I feel like I lost my abilities tbh)

010

Corvo @jvstcorvo.bsky.social · 02/01/2025

Happy 2025! I'll trip over my words again, but I *do* want to try and get some sewing done this week... Saw a countdown yesterday for the first convention I'll attend this year, and it's.. Very close with early March. I won't rush Corvo, he doesn't deserve that, but I *want* to at least get going

010

Corvo @jvstcorvo.bsky.social · 27/12/2024

Why is the urge to continue working on Corvos coat always at its strongest while I'm at work. Why can't I be hit with motivation when I am at home and have literally nothing else to do. With that being said, maybe this weekend...?

Love going into early shifts with two coworkers who've been here for at least 1½ years, so you'd think they know what to do and when to do it. All of us are mistaken with that assumption. And this one guy really can't stop acting as if he is our savior, and nothing would work without him 💀

Corvo @jvstcorvo.bsky.social · 15/12/2024

After some debating and also consulting my mum, I decided against washing the fabric beforehand, since it's a wool mixture and a coat fabric that technically shouldn't really be washed like regular clothes. Anyway, IT IS SO PRETTY and absolutely worth the money I spent on it 🥹

020

Corvo @jvstcorvo.bsky.social · 14/12/2024

Trying to get myself motivated to finally get out of bed, get ready and drive to the city to look for Christmas presents... But bed warm and comfy... 😔

Once again omw to steal your whole shrine /lh /j

110

Corvo @jvstcorvo.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

Will check out the new fabric for Corvo that arrived yesterday, I'll wash it first but might be able to make some actual progress this weekend. The desire to finally have this outfit be real is growing stronger each day, problem is I actually have to *make it* 🥲 #Dishonored #CorvoAttano

That shrine looks sick!! /pos

Corvo @jvstcorvo.bsky.social · 26/11/2024

Spent last night looking for fabrics for Corvos coat. Again. The one I got doesn't really do it for me anymore, however I will test my pattern with it. Samples have been ordered, maybe, hopefully they'll be here this week already 🤞🏻

Corvo @jvstcorvo.bsky.social · 24/11/2024

Gold trim arrived faster than expected, and I even got an extra 2,5m of it <3 Planning to finish Dishonored 2 again today, once that's out of my system I can go back and... Work on my Dishonored cosplay (because the rats in my brain told me so)

010

Corvo @jvstcorvo.bsky.social · 21/11/2024

Having a week of vacation means playing Dishonored 2 for 15h in two days. That's a normal amount, right? Perfectly reasonable? Good, just making sure...

Corvo @jvstcorvo.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

I honestly don't really know how to use Bluesky, I barely used Twitter, I hate what Instagram has turned into, but have some Corvo Attano progress to start things off. #Dishonored #CorvoAttano #Cosplay
