About to give our 9-month old a bath & felt something on my foot! Meet Dermacentor variabilis (American Dog Tick). This tick species doesnt carry Lyme, but can carry other nasty bacteria Punch lines: 1) Ticks are out and 2) this was in our fucking bathroom (but prolly came in on dogs)
