My late dog Bailey was a Kooikerhondje, with a majestic banner of a tail. That tail was bred into these wondrous dogs to serve as a duck decoy for Dutch farmers, luring the birds to capture, the dog swimming around until the ducks followed directly into net tunnels. Which I so wanna watch someday

The historic ocean liner SS United States is docked in Mobile, Alabama , where its environmental cleanup is complete, and it is waiting for final federal permits to be sunk as the world's largest artificial reef off the coast of Florida.

Current Status and Reef Plans
• Cleanup Finished: Workers have completely cleaned the ship, removing all hazardous materials, wiring, and fluid tanks to meet strict environmental rules.

• Waiting on Permits: Okaloosa County, Florida, purchased the ship and is updating an older permit to sink it at a deeper site. They are waiting for final sign-offs from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the EPA.

• Future Location: The plan is to place the ship about 22 miles southwest of Destin and 32 miles southeast of Pensacola in roughly 180 feet of water.
