With the amount of minutes players were asked to play in January, there was no way we would get out without injuries. January was a car crash. I am glad we didnt panic buy but i cant believe the european loan market was not used. We are criminally short now.

Once Villa decided that Duran was going then they couldnt sell Watkins. Id say the bid was based on giving Villa an option to hold onto the younger player and get 50+ for a 29 year old. I thought we would bring a CF in on loan from europe tbh, never thought we would go big

Yeah thats the only real option. I think we needed a body to come in to take some minutes off Kai if we are up in a game and maybe cruising and you can get him off the pitch. We were limited to what we could do id say...... Still think we might see a CF on loan from europe at last min?

I questioned Rice and his ability to move the ball forward quickly but he is showing more and more improvement in that part of his game. Brilliant player..... would love him to score a few more goals though

100% need someone, the problem is, its not clear who we should get? A bit of a panic buy in january, rarely works out. We see players stuck at the likes of United and Chelsea that were bought without a plan and are now stuck there on big wages and cant be shifted.....

If the ref disallowed the goal and then it goes to VAR to check i would understand them not changing the call on the pitch. After watching the clip 20 times for me its debatable if it hits stomach or arm even when slowed right down, in that case you gotta give it

We are chasing a game and we have 1 sub he trusts to bring on. You just cannot deal with these amount of injuries, they will eventually catch you. Players are giving all they have but a game every 3 days and no ability to rotate

Yeah, its an interesting one. I think he looked poor today, akward touches, no movement in the box when ball was in wide positions and then the chances he missed would basically be considered sitters.
