Jobi @justjobiwan.bsky.social · 28/08/2026It's hard sometimes. I haven't created something for myself for nearly 2 years. 1 exception, a 5 hour project for Halloween last year. I got overloaded, deflated, disenfranchised with my own work. We need to pick ourselves up, and get back to it. No one else will do it for us. 110 1
Jobi @justjobiwan.bsky.social · 28/08/2026To you, to myself. Pick up that pencil, pick up those tools, that brush, that foam, that clay, that mouse. Create. I've been away from making so long, I've forgotten how to connect to it. Doing a minor thing today felt freeing. 130 3

Jobi @justjobiwan.bsky.social · 06/06/2026Got to see #themandalorianandgrogu today. Great fun, same vibes as the show but different to the Skywalker saga and Star wars story vibes. I don't think it added a huge amount to the overall SW universe but it was a fun standalone adventure. Lots of fun things to see, including a Vexis Easter eggstatic.klipy.comBaby Yoda Grogu Peeks OutALT: Baby Yoda Grogu Peeks Out 020 2
Jobi @justjobiwan.bsky.social · 15/05/2026Digital painting seems to be the only thing I'm getting done lately besides renovation work. Hopefully it won't be too long until I can set up and work on some props again. But here's my latest pup portrait. 070 7
Jobi @justjobiwan.bsky.social · 09/05/2026For the past month, I've been breaking up our back garden, a couple times a week working for an hour or so at a time. On the left is the day we moved in. And on the right is today. I've broken 3 sledge hammers. But I did it. Now to clear it and make it a nice space. Heck of a work out I've had. 040 4
Jobi @justjobiwan.bsky.social · 08/05/2026Throwback. Facebook reminded me of a post from 2008. Fresh faced and wavey haired Jobi. This was my second cosplay. Back then I could make a tunic and hat from two pillow cases. I don't think I could do the same these days but I'd love to revisit a link cosplay again someday. 061 6

Jobi @justjobiwan.bsky.social · 06/03/2026House work goes on. Streaming and crafting is still taking a back seat. But I do have my moments for creating. This week I completed two more pet portraits. Jobi @justjobiwan.bsky.social · 09/12/2025Thank you for the spotlight. Jobi @justjobiwan.bsky.social · 10/11/2025Silicone jobs of October. Partial Hands, wrist disarticulations, partial feet and legs. I did it all this month. I'm sure there was a digit or two in there as well. Safe to say, work is keeping me busy. #silicone #prosthetics #handsculpted 090 9
Jobi @justjobiwan.bsky.social · 08/11/2025Can't believe it's less than a month till #MetroidPrime4 comes out. As a huge prime fan it's an antagonising wait, it looks phenomenal. But I do still need to buy a #switch2, been holding off due to all the house projects. My cosplay for attention... 1234 23

Jobi @justjobiwan.bsky.social · 06/11/2025Another pet portrait done. This one was for my uncles birthday. Drawing and painting three cuties back to back was tough. Alot of hours and painting on wrong layers to get this done. Eventually I'll remember to record the whole process and time lapse it. #digitalart #pets 2164 16

Jobi @justjobiwan.bsky.social · 02/08/2025Now that I have my PC space set up I have been able to do a little painting. @redharlock.bsky.social asked me if I could paint a picture of his gentleman cat Spock, whom he recently lost. It was a pleasure to do this painting in his memory. 161 6
Jobi @justjobiwan.bsky.social · 25/07/2025I can proudly say, I never owned a troll. I never owned a furbee. I never bought myself a funko (gifted and then carbooted) and I don't know what the last thing is. Fads aren't my thing. 000 0

Jobi @justjobiwan.bsky.social · 21/07/202510/10 for script, and intonation. It feels like what he would say. Tighten up the accent and it's an A* all round. More breath. More fatigue 🤣 030 3
Jobi @justjobiwan.bsky.social · 14/07/2025Hello old friend! Desk is in! Pc is set up. New shelving to match at the end of the month. So I can then get some stuff on display. Need a couple new USB cables and then do my cable management. But it's coming together. The return is imminent. 070 7

Jobi @justjobiwan.bsky.social · 09/07/2025Don't worry I'll only post a few pics. I'll make sure one of them isn't me on my paddleboard off the dorset coast swigging on a cold bottle of cider... 020 2
Jobi @justjobiwan.bsky.social · 09/07/2025Kinda gutted to miss #SoTFest this year. Made it to all the others. But budgets weren't working out for me. So sitting this one out. However, I am hosting NoTFest '25, at my house, crew mates are coming down. We got games, beers, snacks & the beach. Gonna be a good time. Catch you lot next year. 2130 13
Jobi @justjobiwan.bsky.social · 08/07/2025Sorry my statement was generally sweeping. Didn't mean to imply cat was profiteering. 140 4
Jobi @justjobiwan.bsky.social · 08/07/2025No it's all good. There's nothing wrong with sourcing premade models when it's for your own enjoyment, but there are people out there that do use other people's work for their own gains. Important thing is to credit where things come from, especially if it's another artists work. 010 1
Jobi @justjobiwan.bsky.social · 06/07/2025Silicone jobs of June. Missing afew this month as I was out of the workshop for the delivery stage. So I didn't get pictures of the finished pieces. But, the last two weeks I've been working on a pair of legs. The rest of the month was all partial hands. #silicone #prosthetics #handscuplted 050 5
Jobi @justjobiwan.bsky.social · 06/07/2025A number of printer makers in the community showcase things they've made. But never give an indication of where those files come from because they are straight up ripped from the game or another source. And then profit massively from said ripped files. Very bad form in my opinion. 150 5
Jobi @justjobiwan.bsky.social · 04/07/2025It will be cosier. I'm thinking a some acoustic panels left and right. A bit of smoked glass on the bit of the bannister to close it off. And then the furniture will be the fjallbo range from ikea. Plus a nice double LED filament light fitting. 010 1
Jobi @justjobiwan.bsky.social · 04/07/2025Gaming cuby is coming along. Still work to do and money to spend. But new desk is on the way. New shelving will be a next month job. But I'm in and pc is set up to an extent. Very much a temporary set up until I sort out proper furniture and shelving. But at least it's a space. 150 5
Jobi @justjobiwan.bsky.social · 02/07/2025Very sad to hear the news from Rare. The video game industry is so unpredictable right now. And you definitely feel the sting when a studio you have a personal connection to takes a hit and you know the people it could affect. I hope anyone at Rare affected are OK. Thanks for all you've done. 050 5
