What is the name of this style of button up shirt for women so that I may thrift more effectively? Would it be a mandarin collar? The time period should be 1981. #clothes #fashion #thrifting

Anyone who needs a heartfelt film in their lives should check out When You Get To The Forest. It just received an excellent new Blu-Ray from Cartuna and @vinsyn.bsky.social

I don’t think Art Vandelay is going to make it out of these times unscathed, sadly.

It’s my birthday! Recommend me a movie to watch, please! If I don’t get to it today, I’ll include it in my birthday week viewing if I haven’t seen it yet! I have a huge list, but I’m coming up short on lighter movies. Feels like I’ve seen almost all of them. #FilmSky #MovieSky #Movies

90s U2, especially Achtung Baby U2, frequently sounds similar to Echo & The Bunnymen to me. I need them to sound like this again. Let’s get some Pop and Zooropa energy back in here—“The Ground Beneath Her Feet” even! #Music #MusicSky #U2

Right now I’m in a stage of my life where I want to wear a U2 shirt every single day. I only have 5 U2 shirts, though, and 2 don’t fit me the way I want, and I feel uncomfortable in them, sadly.

Thinking about getting into SpongeBob again and rewatching from the beginning. I fell off somewhere in the 2010s, so maybe I’d just keep going and catch up as much as I could. Maybe I could spread it out over the next 3.9 years because I have to watch movies too. I can’t just stop that, you know?

Another favorite film of mine from this year’s Sundance! It’s warm and sad and funny and everything in between. You can read my full thoughts about it in my review below!

TRAIN DREAMS is such a beautiful film that left my heart feeling full. It was one of my favs out of this year’s Sundance. Read my full thoughts below 👇 #Filmsky #Moviesky #Sundance2025

I think it’s really cool how I can’t find any info about vaccine costs online at any place that offers them, and then when I call, I’m only able to talk to a machine which also gives me zero info. I’m sure the prices are astronomical, but I need to know what I’m working with here.

It has been a while, but I’m back with a Sundance review! I hope more people see BY DESIGN by Amanda Kramer. A dark comedy with plenty of layers. Check out my full thoughts below ⬇️ #FilmSky #MovieSky #Sundance2025

Does anyone know what the site/app is called that has news articles on it along with a bias gauge beneath it? The color scheme used is maybe red and green? I saw it maybe a week ago, but I’ve forgotten the name. #News #Journalism

One of the things I love about Sundance is getting to watch SO many new films from female directors. I get to bask in storytelling by women and in their perspectives for a few days before a steep drop off for the rest of the year. #Sundance2025 #FilmSky #SundanceFilmFestival

This is crazy as hell lol. I’m sure Halle Berry would feel soooo great reading that. I hope she doesn’t see that, but she’s pretty active on twitter. Good job invalidating her groundbreaking achievement, losers.

Sundance is always bringing us great docs! A few from last year’s festival were even just nominated for Oscars! Check out some of this year’s fest’s selections that you won’t want to miss! ⬇️ #Oscars #FilmSky

With the extra existential dread heaped on me and everything happening lately (also one of the movies getting a lot of awards attention greatly annoys me), the Oscars have fallen a bit flat for me this year. I’ll still be catching up on all the noms I can, but things feel a bit bland to me right now

Ah, yes, the annual Diane Warren inclusion for best song. Always gives me a chuckle. Could have given it to her for “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now” but then maybe we wouldn’t have gotten even more bangers like “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” Really makes you think 🤔 #Oscars

I was going to make potato soup today, but then I got too sad and watched Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga and cried instead.

Well, Jfc, I’ve got to take Stardust out of my top 4 on Letterboxd for a bit. I still love that movie deeply, but I can’t look at the poster right there when I open my profile at the moment. Awful stuff.

Well, that’s a wrap on 2024. I still have no life 👍 I was on a Jeff Bridges kick last year along with trying to watch as many of Michelle Pfeiffer’s movies that I haven’t seen yet. The Pfeiffer Project will continue this year. #FilmSky

I’ve been lazy for the past week, and I’m not going to get my 37th book read but not a bad showing this year. I read 3 Goosebumps books because I’ve collected them all the past two years, and I’m slowly making my way through them again every October. #BookSky #Books

I’m unsure if this person or any of the people in the replies have ever seen a truly insane/unhinged movie before because what? The Human Centipede?!? Come on. There are way more unhinged Christmas movies out there. The Family Stone is actually mild as hell.
