Maybe an unpopular opinion for NYCFC fans, but I think VAR got it right not to review. Camera angles can deceive, and this 2022 World Cup play was only called correctly as in-play because of an endline camera.
With no camera on the 18-yard line, VAR is going to stick with the on-field call.
