The privacy pitch isn't a policy promise — em has no backend at all. No account to create, no database to hold your writing even if I wanted to. Sync runs through your own iCloud, publishing runs through your own Ghost API key. Your files are yours and I don’t want ‘em.

Native Ghost publishing, on-device Apple Intelligence if you want it, Shortcuts; Smart Search, Journal Suggestions, Version History, and so much more! One-time purchase with 50% off until September 30. I'm so excited to put this into writers' hands.

em is now live on the App Store! A privacy-focused Markdown writer for Mac, iPad, and iPhone, built on one idea: your writing files are yours. No account, no login, no server — just .md files in your own iCloud. #Writing #Apps #Apple #ios #ghost #privacy apps.apple.com/app/id679700...

Alf getting a second life as the unofficial mascot of Bluesky is equally exciting and extremely disturbing.
