Saw a pretty cool vault today. While most of the painting is Victorian, it (and the tower above it) was paid for by John of Gaunt, father of King Henry IV and founder of the House of Lancaster, and one of the most powerful men of the 14th century.
...and it's definitely not a fan vault!!
